eGo Cartomizers All Over the Place!!

Just got a shipment of the new eGo cartomizers. Wanted to make sure none were DOA and found they were reading anywhere from 2.9 to 3.6?? Are others finding this?? Is it a QC issue? Which ones will work the best on a mega eGo battery the lower ohms or the higher ohms? Thanks!!

'best' is relative, it depends on what you like, the lower ohms will give a slightly warmer vapor.

Will I also get more vapor and flavor out of the lower ohms? Like with an LR atty?

kinda sorta, but you're only talking a difference of about half a watt

as opposed to a joye510 vs 510lr, which can be around 3 watts difference (depending on variables).

Arn't lower voltage cartos "supposed" to last longer?

Checked four carto's I received from Cignot approx 2 weeks ago. All were between 2.4-2.6ohms. Admittedly all but one have seen heavy use.

Think it may be time for a new meter? I know now that mine is reading high. Tested a load of attys the other day, then had a friend test a few, and my readings are high. Interesting though that there was such a variable on these? Even if it is reading high, differences should be the same. Thanks for the responses! Really appreciate it! Probably right joker, won't even be able to tell the difference, as wattage should be pretty close?

if i recomember correctly, meters can have an internal resistance. touch your leads together and that will tell you what it is, then deduct that from your atty readings.

Thanks for the tip joker!! Yes, mine does have a pretty high internal resistance number! This now explains why all of my attys have been reading so high, but still doesn't account for the readings on these eGo cartos being all over the place? Thanks again!
