eGo-CC Clearomizer Silicone Seal Question

Does anyone have any experience removing the bottom, silicone seal on the eGo-CC Clearomizer (the part with the hole that you inject the ejuice into)? I'd like to remove it when cleaning my hardware with a vodka bath, but I wanted to check if there was any special technique to removing it and putting it back in place before I brute force my way through it. Thanks!

I`ve removed mine to clean it. I used a paper clip that I made into an `L` to gently pull up on it. I turned the bent part to different spots as I pulled up,so not to stress any one area.Used the same thing to gently tamp it down to get it close to position then screwed it back together fo finish the seating of the gasket. Be careful.
