Hey guys,

I've been looking at the e-power kits and was wondering, has anyone's created something similar to those that'll accept different sized batteries, and where the replaceable switch can be swapped out for variants with different threads. The latter seems simple enough, but not sure about the alternate batteries. (And yeah, I'm aware of the GGTS, but as much as I'd love one of those, I'm talking about eGo type stuff that's actually affordable, not "blow a house payment for a new toy" mods.) lol

Anywho, I've wanted to get something that I could keep forever and just replace the batteries on for some time now, but have also had my eye on stuff like the Echo (808 fat batt), and it just seemed like the ideal setup to merge everything into one PV with replaceable batts, so figured I'd ask if anyone's already done it.

Thanks. :)

Jazz pipes sells a NoEgo 14500 and 18650. They are from $25-$35 just for the case, cone and carto. I spoke to the owner on the phone and he has plans to invent a VV mod. He is also going to invent a long lasting reusable carto or atty. I have a 14500 No Ego on order and will give a review once I have used the device for a while. Hope this helps.

I own (and love) both versions of the NoEgo. They are virtually identical to the e-Powers; just sold without batts, charger, and attys (which I didn't need). With short, inexpensive adapters, I use them with Kr8 and 801 cartos as easily as with 510s ... and the cones fit just fine.

BTW, I consider "NoEgo 14500" a misnomer. [karmyn is correct. That is how it referred to on the Jazz CartoPipe website.] 14650 batteries (i.e., the size that come with the e-Power) fit even better than the 14500s.

Speaking of misnomer, the NoEgos and e-Powers are not eGo clones. Notwithstanding the cones (which use is optional) they are mods. Second only to the SparkPlug (which has a form factor I don't like personally), they are the least expensive (very good quality) tubular mods on the market.
