Hi, have a whole bunch of the Redux clearomizers and want to build a mod with the appropriate connector.
I can not figure out which connector to by as they are all called adapters...

Is there a connector appropriate to use for these ego friendly clearos?

I cant seem to get a straight answer from these companies... they dont seem to know anything about the products that they sell.

Yes its these redux like in the video... So, do I get a normal 510 connector sold for mods then simply put an ego thread adapter on it?
I was sort of hoping that there was a one connector solution....

I cant believe that no one has a bull head style fitting with a nut on the bottom for mounting.
I want to build several 3300Mah unites and dont want to buy the wrong stuff..

The toughest part for you will finding some way to attach the eGo connector to the tube you're making IMO. You could always solder it to the tube depending on the metal used.

Make some more posts (go welcome some people) and then go to the modder's section.

Basically, you have to glue them in anyway to waterproof the connector-mod fitting. Or it could leak into the electronics. There are drill and tap and die posts in that section too.

Go research. Don't use adapters, IMO. Use connectors of one type or another or rig up the universal head that you're almost discussing. But don't use the stock adapters sold on the sites you questioned, IMHO.

Also research vent holes. Even for IMR based stuff.

I could find a low profile nut that would fit it. If not I could use epoxy or epoxy putty. There is some supper volatile flux cant remember the name that allows you to solder just about anything together. Dissimilar metals dont do well together but for this application it wouldnt be that big of a deal.

does anyone have an oppinion on:
Vision eGo Spinner 1300mAh Variable Volt Battery, Chrome

If I went ahead and bought another battery this would allow me to use one of my preexisting batteries as parts.
I hate to do that.....

Then again if I just built a mod using a straight 510 connection and purchased some appropriate tanks it would be cheaper i guess.
Im being cheap because im laid off and money is tight.! :p

The 1300 Spinner is a fine battery. I have two, along with an assortment of others, and really like the Spinners. Easy to adjust, long life between charges, actually powers a DCT reasonably well, not to mention anything else you want to put on it. Good form factor, comfortable to hold, and not too heavy to have in hand all day.

I haven't seen any solder type connectors for ego, but maybe when you make your mod, use a 510 with a 510 to ego adapter, with the adapter set in a "well" to make it flush?

Realize I've never modded before but have done various eGo, Twist and Vamo electrical repairs. If you're making a Tube Mod you may want to look into getting an 18650 flashlight. Here's a vid BUT realize he's using a 510 threading connector and NOT the eGo threads. If it's a Mech Mod make absolutely sure you use PROTECTED batteries and make sure there are vent holes.

I LOVE my Spinner.

I'm using the 510 threaded Vision brand Vivi Nova and my heads are lasting 10+ weeks which equates to 15 cents per week. If you really wanted to save dough you could rebuild your own Vivi heads.
