Ego flashing 3 times

i have an 900mah ego batt that just started 3 times when i press the button,,what does that mean ?? oh,,it is not firing my cartos either

it flashes 10+ times when it needs to be charged,,mine will only flash three times for each time i press the button

thanks,,guess my battery has a major short then ,,,i got plenty of back ups so i am good to go
