eGo knockoff

I've been vaping for about 6 months and, amongst other mods, have an eGo knockoff that was my first battery (650mAh). Today I hooked it up to a multimeter and the voltage read at 4.1 volts. Yes, 4.1 volts. I was under the impression that most of the eGo batteries were rated at 3.7v but only put out about 3.2v. Should I be concerned about the battery, or is it just a higher voltage battery than some other eGos?

That's the charge left on the battery, not what it is putting out. Not to worry.

How would I find out what voltage it is putting out?

Fully charged, unregulated battery will read 4.2v

NOT a concern

Volts out is on a sliding scale. the more you use the battery, the lower the volts drop, until the safety kicks in and warns to charge.

I guess the problem with knockoffs is there's no way of knowing what it was designed to do. You might be able to tell if something changed if your getting a different vape now compared to when you started using it. Knockoffs are a roll of the dice.
