eGo Mega tips

Hi All !!

Have been smoke free for 34 days now.
Have had a eGo for 1 week tonight--love it so far .
Ordered a mega atty AND a Mega lr atty and carts.
Arrived today-but atty's not marked --any way to tell diff between them ?????
Look the same to me .
Also how much juice does it take for the mega carts to start???
AND--if dripping --how many drips is good for the mega atty's ??

Thanks for any advice .

You may have to use a meter to measure the resistance of the attys. I don't know what the max number of drops you can put in the Mega atty, but I've put 5 in mine with no problem. I generally use the carts on the Mega, and the initial fill can take 70 to 80 drops. They'll last a long time.

Wait wait - 70-80 drops in a Mega cart????

According to spec they hold 2.5 ml but no more than 1.8-2.0 ml is recommend and that would be 36-40 drops since there are about 20 drops in an ml

I have not used them - just what various specs claims

No meter needed. Look at the bottom on the connection. Youll see a SUPER TINY "LR" stamped on a LR, where the connection meets the battery. As far as your description, your talking about an XL atty. Those take 5-8 drops to drip..easy money. Watch the cylinder atties, they dont leak with carts, they FLOOD! Just store correctly and your safe. I prefer cone, but use both. (The mega is a standard 510 with a longer barrel. <--ok, i nitpicked the post )

70-80 drops would be a teeeny tiny dropper. 1 ml is 20-30 drops.

510 mega, ego XL...I realize most vendors get this all confused. But drops will depend on the size of the dropper. Most ppl base off the 15 ml plastic bottles with controlled dropper tops. Those put out 20-30 drops per ml.

510 mega and eGo XL aren't the same as the eGo Mega. This thing is almost the same size as the eGo battery.
