Hi there, i just charged my Ego One Mega with 2.0A charger.
When i take out the battery from charging it was so hot in my hands... Now the battery is fulll... i vape about 5 minutes and put again to charge, but the LED is off. Is broken ?
Can somebody with a Ego One with full battery test if the led is go back red when you recconect to usb charger after battery is full ?
Thanks !

Im just charging mine now, as soon as it's charged I will test this for you, mine doesn't really get hot or even that warm, it shouldn't be doing that.. In saying that, the joytech charger is rated at 1A, if your using an after market charger rated at 2A then I'd say it's user error and you may have damaged the battery, I certainly wouldn't keep charging it at 2A again...
I'll report back soon :thumb:

That's probably not good. And I'm thankful my Samsung phone charger that's 2A has both a micro usb tip with something else on it as well so I can't accidentally charge my vape stuff with it. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you probably did damage the battery as every vape battery I've seen uses a 1A charger. Even though 2A ones would make sense to use because holy .... does my phone charge fast. I wish my 50w istick charged that fast lol.

Fuuu... hope is charging without the red light. Because i just buy this one. Because now if i put my battery on chargin the red light in not there.
No red light, I doubt it's charging. I'd say your battery is fried, charging it at 2.0A..
