I bought an EGO PCC from LF I love the way it keeps all of my EGO equipment together when I am on the go. The PCC came with a usb cord that plugs into my computer. I am not always around a computer and would like to know how I can plug this into the wall to charge. Anyone out there have one of these new EGO pcc's and know how I can plug it into a wall to charge.

The PCC is the one with a leather like case. It hold both EGO batteries, charges one in the middle and came with a juice container and will hold 2 carts.

The manual doesn't mention the PCC input battery, just that it has a 2000mA battery, I googled the USB output voltage and it seems to be 5volts and 500mA, just like the wall charger, I might just give it a try.

Quick question, any idea of how long it takes the PCC to charge the eGo XL battery, I left it there for four and a half hours and after that plugged it onto the wall charger to test if the led came green, it's been more that two hours since that and the led is still red.

The AC-2-USB charger you received with your eGo will work just fine to charge up your PCC. The amps is telling you how much current the adapter can put out. Your eGo battery likes to charge at roughly 420mAh. It will also charge on a regular 510 charger, which runs around 220<?>mAh, just takes 2-3x longer to charge the battery with those.

On a battery it is an indication of capacity (ie the 2000mAh or 2A battery has enough juice to charge almost 3 regular eGo 650mAh batts and just over 2 eGo XL 900mAh on a single charge).

There is a chance that the eGo PCC could use MORE current (amps) if offered, ie it may charge faster hooked up to a 1000mAh AC adapter than it will mated to a 500mAh. There could be electronics inside the battery which render the higher current moot (ie it will only "take in" charge at a specified rate, like 420mAh or something similar, even if you offer it 2A). I assume the latter, can't use more if offered, that's how my KR808 PCC works, not really a problem tho.

Short answer: if your AC adapter works to charge the eGo directly with the dongle charger, it will work just fine to charge the PCC.

Another note: you can charge your eGo battery with the PCC *while* it is being charged from the wall. Takes longer to do this than each alone (obviously), but it does work. Great for heading off to bed, start the eGo charging then plug in the PCC and both will be ready to rock the next day (at least 4-5 hrs if the eGo batt was really flat).

Great tip, thanks again.
