Ego PT not switching off, normal?

Hey guys, I picked up an Ego-T pt and it won't shut off when I do the 5 click thing. I figured that in the USB mode it kind of made sense, but when disconected and used as a portable batt, it won't shut off. I have tried 5 quick, 5 slow, 7 click, 8 clicks, etc.

Is this a defect or just normal behavior for an Ego-t USB PT?

Click your heals 5 times say I wish this product worked each time you click your heals and presto you have yourself a defective product.

in all seriousness email the vendor you got it at and they might be able to help you out (Hopefully they can replace your battery w/o you spending even more money on it)

I love my ego PT and my Leo PT sorry yours doesnt work well

amrnation, I also realized that it doesn't shut off automatically after a set time like the other batts. I'm not sure now if I want to keep it or not, I can take longer hits But on the other hand, it might burn out the atty and batt quicker.

What do you guys think, should I keep it or try and get a "normal acting" one?

Sounds like you got the older version ? not the newer one that has the 5 click opt

Any advantages to having the older one? I find that it is a lot hotter, almost what I think an LR should be like.
