Not getting much traffic in the model specific section so I'll post here too.

Is it recommended to not use dark juices in a tank system at all? Or do you just have to clean it more? I've just received some 30ml juices from a vendor and one of the flavors is very dark and I've heard it can gum up tank systems. I haven't cleaned my atty at all yet but I think I will try the soak in boiled water method first when I do. It seems the easiest to do. Unless someone has a simple alternative.

Would I be better off getting a regular ego atty and a drip tip for the darker stuff?

Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. There are other factors like how 'sugary' it is, how thick it is, if it's got more vg or sedements in it.

I'm not exactly an expert but I'd consider sediments in vg much worse for the ego-T than the colour of a juice. Could just be the colour of the flavourings.

When I still used my ego-Ts, all I did was blow it out about once a week. I was seriously lazy lol. About once a month I'd dry burn it:

- Blow the atomiser out.

- Rinse the atomiser out under the hot tap.

- Blow it out again.

- Keep pressing the button to heat up the atomiser until you see that the wick inside the piercing straw is actually glowing red.

- Maintain this red glow for about 15 - 30 seconds.

After that you can rinse it out, or let it cool for a few minutes and dry burn it again or you can just chuck more juice in.

It's the "best" cleaning method (to me) that doesn't involve taking the thing apart as you can physically see the wick getting cleaner with all the burnt on juice vaporising off in a cloud of unpleasant smelling vapour.
