Ego-T Atomizer Disassembly

Hey everyone, just incase nobody has documented a disassembly of the ego-t, here it is. Looks like a standard cup setup, there is still a wicking material touching the coil but atleast it is not poly-fil batting

i have tried to get the ego jumbo (cylinder) atty apart without damaging it and failed.
the mailman is bringing my Genisis today, i have to put a batt connection on it and add the silver wire to it, dont have the silver wire yet.

Use a pair of plyers with rubber inserts to hold the ego, then heat the bottom of it, invert it onto a 5/16" deep well socket on an extension in the vise and tap the plyers with a hammer. Pops right out.

I used SS also, But I replaced the entire coil, and made a new one using SS as the center of the coil. not just the SS wick to the coil.
I was also posting for those that might not go to the german forums. Trying to keep it on the ECF. I just did this as my ego finally died so apart it came

Thanks Dan, this looks real slick and I could use a genisis that I could take on a plane (commercial looking). How much does such a T-tank hold? I've been ignoring ego developments lately.... Also, is the taste and production like a genisis?

No problems,
The T-Tank holds 1.5ml, and yes the flavor is outstanding. Once I replaces the coil and wicking material for SS it tastes as good as the genisis. No materials to cloy the taste.

Not nearly as much to be honest. Nice adaptation you did there, but I can't get over a number of design choices in the miser-able. 1.5ml in a seemingly stock ego, is very plane ready though
