iv read that someone tried it on a provari with a couple adapters, so i don't c why not. i am interested in knowing how it holds up at different voltages maybe 6 volts??? sd's have a 901 threading correct? grab a 510 adapter and it should screw on. if not, stack a kr808 adapter underneath and it should work. i have a ego lr atty that i have stacked adapters to get it working on other mods, works great.

I would imagine 5-6 volts on a standard atty would be quite hot, unless you could find some higher resistance atty's and modify them for the Tank.

5-6 volts do get hot but i believe hv attys are relatively new and before they came out ppl vaped 6 volts with a regular atty and some people vape 6 volts with an lr! which seems crazy to me. but when im really jonzin ill take 6 volts on a regular atty... it atomizes all the juice soo quick and i get a fat hit/blast of nicotine

Yep, they are too hot at 6v- tried them on my V3. They seem to work best at 3.9v (for me anyway). But- I am going to get a 3.7 battery for my V3 to get close to what Zen's provari was able to do, that was a nice vape

Thanks Desi,

Bummer, I really wanted this concept to work at 6V. I hope someone will pick up on this concept for us HV vapers. I can't stand anything below 6V these days.

Hey BK, I really don't know how the Tank is doing it. My batt is running at 3.5v and the atty is 2.4-2.5ohm, but this thing kicks! I am vaping with the Tank and a GGTB side-by-side and it is amazingly close.
I am running 6.6v on my GGTB with a HV atty and a drip tip.
Here are the calcs;
The Tank with 3.5V and a 2.5ohm atty is only putting out 4.9watts.
The GGTB with 6.6 and a 5.2ohm atty is putting out 8.4watts.
So, I don't really get it.
Side by side comparison with the same juice (Espresso 24mg nic PG30/70VG mix from E-Liquid Emporium).
The Tank has great vapor production, good flavor with a good TH.
The GGTB has a little better vapor production (approx 30% better), a little better flavor (maybe 10%) and the TH is really pretty much even. The HV vape seems a little smoother, but still amazingly close.
On both these comparisons I am taking about a 5 second hit. I really don't get it, but if you haven't yet, you should really try out the Tank. I don't really allude to understanding how Joye has done it. I would be interested in your impressions compared to mine on the Tank vs. HV vaping.

Hey Desi,

That's really interesting... I think I'm going to get a ego-T cone, a 510 battery charger adapter, and a few tanks and try it on a 3.7 battery mod. I've heard 3.9 was the sweet spot for this type of setup but I don't have a VV mod yet. I'll let you know how it goes compared to my 6V. Thanks for the info!

I saw a video on these and the guy said they have a horrible vomit taste when you first get them and it goes away. thats not something I want to pay for. Ick I forgot to put it is a video on u-tube . I could not believe it.

That's just the primer. It sounds like whoever made that video didn't blow out the atty before using it. I gave mine a couple of good puffs from the battery end, wadded up a paper towel and wiped down the inside of the cone, popped on a tank, and got great flavor.
