eGo T atomizer question

Ok so someone gave me an eGo T atomizer and some blank cartridges to go with it. I tried to use it on my FS eGo battery, but it won't connect. works fine on a penstyle 510. Is there an adapter/extender that I need to use?

thanks I had a feeling that was the problem, but with shipping being more than the actual part I needed I gave the atty back to the friend who gave it to me--just glad he let me try it out before I went and bought one!
