Ego-T Battery Problem

Hey everybody is just recently purchase the ego-t and i have a battery problem. It lights up fine but does not produce any vapor. I know its not a problem with the atomizer as it works just fine when i use my other battery. Any ideas on how to get this going again? Not to happy since i just bought it...

Wow, one thing I have not heard of with the ego-t is battery problems....you say the battery light comes on, but is it firing the atty? Maybe check to see if there isn't a film of juice, or a piece of tissue or something on the center post that is keeping you from getting a good connection to the atty...if the atty fires, then the battery is doing it's job, it would seem....sorry, I'm not more help...is the battery fully charged?

Thanks for the reply, i just tried your advice and unfortunately it didnt start working. Its not fully charged but its the 1000mah and it was only unplugged for a couple of hours so i dont think thats the problem. Again, thanks for you time bud.

Edit: No i dont think its firing the atty as i dont hear the usual noise it makes.

Yeah, sounds like a connection issue...well, you should be able to contact the vendor and see it they will swap it for another one....good luck, anyway. Hope ya get it resolved soon.

most likely your problem is the center post inside the batt you should be able to get something and pry it up just a hair and then it will make contact.just go from left to right a few times. when you screw your tank or atty back on it will seat it in the right position. many people have this problem when they get an atty thats a little longer and they screw it on to tight and it will push the center contact down.

Yes vicki at cignot is great. I reported my issue early this morning and shehas already shipped me out another one in a matter of hours. Highly recommended. Best customerservice I've seen so far. Wish I'd have know about her a year ago instead of using other vendors.

The only way to test it for sure is with a multimeter or voltmeter. Touch the negative probe to the outside ring and the positive to the inner post while pressing the button. Be careful not to touch the inner post and the outside ring with the same probe. I know you have a replacement coming, but I would still want to find out if the battery really went bad.
