eGo T battery problems

I just recieved a new eGo T battery and am wondering what it going on lol I disconnected the battery from my atty to charge it BUT the light when disconnected is staying lit? I have no idea why it is doing that since it has never happened. I just bought this battery about a week ago and have never had this problem before. Does anyone have insight on why the light comes on when disconnected from the atty?

As an average joe, I have no idea on why it would happen and I doubt it's easily fixable. If it's still under warranty I'd contact the supplier and ask for a replacement as it seems faulty by this description. They're usually good about replacing hardware. Is it staying lit while it is on the charger? I have heard of this happening and believe I heard it is a mosfet issue, unless I'm mistaken..

The button might be stuck in, had that problem with some of my ego batteries.

Thank you all for your responses. I contacted the supplier "ecigg.org" That company is too damn awesome. Great customer service and prices. He is actually going to replace the battery with whatever type of battery I want. Its good to see a company take care of their loyal customers!
