ego-t dripping on the atomizer.

i just got an ego-t and i was reading the beginner tutorial on this website and it said to put 3 drops on the atomizer to prime it. im reading what to do to the atomizer for the first time and am needing some advice. thanks
and i also got some clear cartomizers. and i was wondering if i should fill the carto up all the way with eliquid? til all of the fiber is saturated?

The eGo-T atty is not the atty to use for dripping. Ya have to have a laser guided dropper to hit that small spike.

Now, if you tire of the tank system, just pop out the atty/spike plate and drip on the coil. This is the config I use for drip sampling nicquids.

Hopefully, you'll not have the issues with leaking tanks that some folk here endure. IF ya do have tank leaking issues, do yourself a favor and get some of the THESE. Reviews HERE and THERE.

If you have some plain PG, drop some in and blow it through into a tissue a couple of times. Add 3 to 5 drops to get it going then just two or three as you continue to drip. If it's pulling soggy or the flavor is off, remove the atty, blow the juice into a tissue and try again. Once you get the hang of it you'll rarely get a bad taste. Listen to the sound your equipment makes (the sizzle) on a perfect vape. In short order you'll know when you need to drip.

Like yourself I started on an ego-t. We got lucky in the fact that we ego-t battery is simple and so versatile. To get a great intro to different vaping methods beyond the tank I would suggest you get boge cartomizer both 2.0/2.8 ohm and a 510 atty both standard/low resistance. Almost every vendor sells them and can be purchased for a very low price if you look through the supplier lists.

The Boge Cartos are dead simple and provide throat hit and vapor that is totally different than the tank.

The 510 attys, by dripping, provide also a unique vape. One warning though, you have to take more care to break in a 510 verses a cartomizer. You have to avoid the dreaded 'POP' which occurs when you fire a dry new atty.

i got the dual coil smoke tek 1.5 ohm cartos. i tried the atty and tank at first. it tasted burnt. not sure if that is just new atty thing or not. then i tried the cartos. amazing th and great vapor. the th of my pg gold and silver startled me. haha wasnt really expecting it. i got a low res atty with it too. gonna try that soon. just wondering how to get the burnt taste out of it. i tried to get the oil out of the atty and i think i got most. should i try dripping a few drops on the atty? even though i cant really get on the atty? it's just the point thing.

I have been dripping using my totally stock ego t. I just drip 3 drops right into the atty didnt even bother about dripping onto the wick.And I use a cart that has all the internal plastic bridges removed for more direct airflow, so far no problems and vapor/favors are great.

I think they were referring to dripping 3 drops directly on the spike to get the wicking saturated -- then throw on the tank and vape.

Once you get them going they do work ok, though. I found out through experience that if you switch between attys and they dry out you have to start all over to get 'em going again.

Some things I've heard of that you can try to get better flow--
Try to use 100%PG
Remove the little plastic piece inside the whistle tip (the overflow thingy)
Always let the button go and continue to draw for about one second, kinda keeps the juice flowing to the wick
Before using a new atty for the first time, take three or four puffs BEFORE pressing the button to get the juice flowing.

I used the tanks as well until I tried the eGo Dual Coil Carto...threw the tanks into the stash...absolutely NO comparison. The EMDCC is king on the T!

Same here. Finally got frustrated with leaking and switched to dual coil carto's. I haven't had any luck with tanks. Tired of trying.

ok thanks. the overflow thing is the piece closer to your mouth or the thing that is next to the spike on the tank?

It's actually inside the whistle tip. Need to remove the end cap of the tip to remove it.

You can just bite the whistle tip gently until the first guard comes out. Then stick a toothpick or an unbent paper clip into the hole in the next one and pull it out too.
