I'll be honest and say I'm one of the few that was not impressed with the eGo-T. Half of the time it tasted like burning. When I wasn't getting a burning flavor I could hardly taste any flavor. I felt that throat hit was almost none. I had tanks leak on me, both when on and off the atomizer. I tried all the tips and tricks I read about and nothing seemed to make it much better. I found it was too much fiddling trying to get it to work right. I just discovered the eGo XL cartomizers and much prefer these to the tank setup.

I've been itching over it too, Maxy. I keep hearing soo many talk about the muted flavors, though....and that is holding me off for now. Flavor is the "strong suit" for any juice I use. I can go without tremendous TH but gotta have that yum-yum flavor.

They can't be all bad, though, I'd reckon...seems they don't stay in stock long. LOL

Thanks Laura!!
I may wait till I get a few more reviews before I go ahead and order then. I've been reading about the tanks leaking on some units and wanted to hear from people who have actually used them. I wonder if the brand matters as far as leakage is concerned? As in Genuine joye to "the others"?

Do you think it's cause they are new that they are flying off the shelves?
I love my eGo but would be pretty annoyed if I get a tank and it leaks on me.
If I couldn't taste my yummy FSUSA juices that would be a deal breaker for sure!! :(

thanks for the replies.

I'm another one that didn't like them. They didn't leak and were easy to use. But, the draw on it was just too cool and airy. It had decent vapor production, but I had to take a really long, slow draw on it to get it. Not much throat hit either.

Trouble,
Is that because they don't have a cone like the eGo?
did you buy a starter kit or the atty and tank individually?

Someone sent me an eGo atty and a couple of tanks to try because they weren't impressed with them. After a little time of struggling to get the tank filled the first time (they're easier to refill), I got it going. While flavor is important to me, the thing that impresses me the most is how long I can go without refilling. They have less flavor than the cartos that I was using, but they don't have the "filler" taste to them. I do NOT like the XL cartos that I tried. Besides being difficult to fill, they had even more filler in them. I haven't found any burnt taste to them at all. Also, the flavor DID improve on about the 3rd refill. (Oh, and I didn't experience any leaking.)

I love my tanks. My main vape is Pure Cig menthol and the flavor and vapor is awesome. My sweet flavors Butterfinger and snickerz are alittle weak in the flavor to me. I just got 2them in 2x flavor that should do the trick. I have had no issues with any of my tanks. I am using my first tank that is a month old :)

I bought the whole starter kit. I think the big thing about these is that it all comes down to personal preference. It's one of those things that you have to just try it to see if you like it.

So guys,
you've probably had these for a while now. What's the verdict?
Do they leak?
How easy are the tanks to fill?
What's the vapour production like?

I'm itching to get one but would like some feedback first. ;)

Cheers,

Michele

I can't say enough good things about the ego-t. I have been using it for 4 weeks without any issue--no leaking, burning etc.

The taste and vapor have been awesome. The tanks are easy to fill and changing from one flavor to another is easy with a new tank--the flavor change is almost instantaneous in the atty. No more thinking about what I have to do to vape..just fill a few tanks and I'm ready for the day.

I've have 3 atties and have used 1 almost exclusively for over 3 weeks without any maintenance/cleaning and it has worked flawlessly. The tank carto's I'm using have been filled numerous times and are working just like the first time. I'm using juices from FSUSA 50/50, BWB 70pg/30vg and vaperite 50/50...the only juice that has given me some problems is vaperite with clogging--but I use it rarely and now even more rarely.

I have been using this on joye ego, but tomorrow on a provari--it will be interesting to see how it works at 3.7 or higher volts.

cheers,

I have had mine for over a week and running good. I was getting a bit of burnt taste, but there is a little know trick for clearing this up. ( of course I wont even see credit for this), take out the tank, and vape on the atomizer for about 10 vapes, no burnt taste and it starts back up like new when you put the tank back.

Nice work Frank!!!
Im going to order me one of these little babies :)

I've read too where some folks have seemed to have the best luck with the atty's just cleaning them with compressed air.

Beware the compressed air with bitter-izer in it. (kids huffing air.. what'll they think of next? vaping nicotine? oh.. nevermind)

OMG, I never would have thought of that! I think I'm a bit behind the times.

I'm sure glad I got me another Texican here to help me with these things. Glad your here deus!!!

I love the eGo-T, I have gotten 3 starter kits and a few extra atty's over the past few weeks (wife loves it also). I have great flavor come thru, almost no leaking. The only exception to this was one of the wife's menthol flavors that was really runny, it was a 100% PG, I added 20% VG to it and she hasn't had a problem with it. This is the only flavor that I have had issues with and I run 100% PG and 80PG/20VG mix thru them.

I did try to run a 50PG/50VG mix thru one... it wasn't much of a fan of it, but the Juice was really thick ( and I mean THICK ).

Got the 1000 mAh battery's and a 1000mAh pass-thru and I haven't had a battery worry since I have had them, unlike with the 510's.. I was always swapping battery's out with them.
