My ego-t battery won't stop firing, even when the button isn't pushed down, does anyone know how to fix this? It only stops firing when I put a top on it or when I put a pair of pliers but then it blinks 3 times to indicate that it can't fire because of bad connection.

I don't know of anything off hand you can do to fix it, other than get it replaced under warranty, if it still applies, or get a new one. The one thing you could try if you haven't already is to use the 5 click feature and turn it off in between uses. You could also play around with the switch a bit in case it's stuck somehow.
