Question... I have ego-t's, but I prefer my stainless 1.5 ohm DCC's. Do you think its because of the heat on my tobacco flavors? Im praying that its not the fact that I like the tase of stuffing!!
I ask because I thought about trying ce2, but if I like stuffing, that wont help!!!

You're probably right about that.

I don't think it's the stuffing. eGo-t's have a somewhat muted flavor by many people's accounts. The dual coils tend to bring out more flavor than a lot of other cartos out there.

If you can get a CE2 with the new harder casing, they're good and really nice warmth to them. They're by far easier to "mod" than tanks. Just take the seals out the top and wobble the case off the bottom. Good to mod.

Love them for flavour and warmth. Have the older CE2s that of course, have all cracked but I have some syringes I'm going to use for a new case. They're all a few months old now and all working despite the cracks. I actually drip with them if that doesn't sound too out there while I'm waiting on these syringes lol

OK, so being a complete noob to the eGo-T (just got mine yesterday) why can't you put your DCCs on the eGo-T? It's still a 510 connection. Might look a little funny, but it should work, right?
Don't call me an expert on DDC's but every single DCC I've used besides the EMDCC made specifically for the ego didn't work on the ego. It doesn't have the power to run a high spec dual coil. My 3.7v box mod can't run these DCCs because the battery isn't high drain either.

Cartos, whether DCC or not, can still be used with an eGo-T. The risk is that the lower ohms can decrease battery life and even fry the MOSFET switch. Plenty of people here use the Boge 2.0ohm cartos with their eGo-T's. I don't think it's the kind of juice that's causing them to heat up. I don't vape any tobacco juice and my cartos get hot because of the ohms and how much I vape. It's just the nature of cartos in general. If you're power vaping, then they're going to get hot. Just be sure to keep them wet and REFILL when you get the first hint of burnt taste.

Yes, I think it's heat (or more specifically, wattage). Poorly vaporized juice doesn't taste all that good.

Have you tried the low resistance type B tank attys and/or adjusting the wicks for proper juice flow?

I'm not a fan of the dual coils. Good throat hit but that's about it. Best flavor in a cartomizer is from Ikenvape's LR 901 Fusions (you would need an adapter). No other carto comes close if you're after flavor and vapor, though throat hit could be stronger on them. There's a world of difference in flavor going to LR or high voltage. I really wasn't a fan of tobacco flavors until I tried them a an LR Fusion carto.

I would also recommend getting a 3.7v device at the very least (and if you go higher, you will probably not want LR cartos or attys).

ok, so Im not crazy then!! I havent used my Ego's as T's for quite awile now because it just doesnt taste as good to me. The DCC's really DO bring out the flavor, that being said, maybe I wouldnt be as happy with the ce2's till my epower gets here!

The ego-t's are definitely lacking in flavor and warmth (I just got some egot-t type b lr). If you want amazing flavor out of a karto, try Ikenvapes LR Fusions (or regular if you have high voltage). They are an 801 carto so you will need an adapter, but they blow all other cartomizers out of the water when it comes to flavor (including the 1.5 ohm, 1.6 ohm, and 1.25 ohm dual coils).

I am currently using the Dual Coil Clear Cartomizers at 2.0 ohms on my Ego-T 1000Mah battery and it works like a dream, I have been using the same one for two weeks and it is still clean and clear and no cracks. I modified my cone I bought when I got fed up with the tanks leaking everywhere and I tried both A and B and Regular and LR. They all leaked. the Clearomizers do not and they provide loads more flavor and vapor.

At the risk of sounding dumber than I am...(as if that's possible) what exactly is the cone on an eGo-T? Also, how did you mod yours?

Oh come on now, that by far does not make you sound dumb at all. I asked the same question myself before :D

The Ego and the Ego-T Both have the same connector on the battery, so the little cosmetic/protective cones that come with the Ego starter kits also fit the Ego T should you decide, (Like I did), to abandon the tank atomizer of the Ego-T because they kept leaking everywhere.

As far as the modification all I did was grind down the end of the cone that the carto sticks out of a little bit with my dremel in order to make the opening a little larger to accommodate the larger diameter of the dual coil clearomizers.

Hope that helps out;

Well, if you asked the same question I don't feel so dumb. :p I don't really mind the tank system, but I know I'll want to use them for cartos here and there...unless it starts leaking (hasn't yet) then I'll toss the silly tanks.
