ego-t passthrough battery not working...

I just recently bought a new setup from my local shop because I lost my previous one when I was out with some friends. Anyways, today I was driving and using my ecig while it was charging. I noticed when I pressed the button the light wouldnt come on nor would it trigger the atomizer. I kept pressing it and then it started working again, so i thought nothing of it. I got home and the same problem. I unscrewed the tank and tried the battery and nothing. I then noticed certain movements to where the usb charger goes in make the red light turn off and turn on again and the battery light flashes 3 times and it works. The thing is i have to keep it in that position or else it wont work. I took off the charger and moved where the charger goes in and again the light flashes 3 times and it works, if kept in that position. Was wondering what was wrong with the battery and if i could do anything to fix it? Thanks in advance

Sounds to me like you have some wires loose. How long have you had the device? And is there any way to open it up to get to the wires? If not you may want to see if you can get into contact with the manufacturer and file possibly return it, or if you have a warranty, get it replaced.

i think i bought it this monday. there is no easy way to open it, at least that i know about. i also dont want to open it since it might mess with the warranty. i was hoping there were some quick fixes so i wouldnt have to go to the shop.

I'm not sure about your shop's policies, but the shop where I live will replace faulty batteries within 14 days from purchase with the receipt. After that you'll probably have to use the warranty from the manufacturer which is usually 1 year if I'm not mistaken.
