Halo Triton battery flashing code?

I've had this triton system for a month and just last night it started acting up. Battery is fully charged, but when I plug it in it flashes 3 times, pauses, then flashes 3 more times. I take it off the charger, and press the button and it seems to work properly. Connect it to the tank, it flashes 3 times, then stops lighting up completely. I have to plug it back into the charger to get it to light up again. I spoke with halo over chat this morning, they reccomended cleaning connections with alcohol. Didn't work. They said it's under warranty but I'd rather not go through that if I don't have to. Any ideas?

Did you try with a different coil or tank? Might be the coil shorting out!

Make sure that all of the contact points on the battery, tank, and charger are clean and dry. If needed, use a cotton swab and alcohol to clean.

That is the most common problem I have run across with Tritons and it can be prevented by doing weekly maintenance using the same technique.

That was my last coil :/ more on the way. Guess I'll have to wait and see. I'll try cleaning in the meantime. Thanks.

I guess it's worth noting that I changed the coil 30 minutes before this happened and was letting the wicks soak. Kinda narrows it down.

Did you try the old coil just to see if it fires (if it wasn't dead)?

I threw it away. Bad call. I did however just remove the coil, cleaned out the tank and connected the battery. Battery is now working without the coil in. Gotta be the coil.
