I just bought the 2 pack ego 1100 mah starter kit. I let them both charge the full 8 hours before use. No matter what I try the blue light on the battery stays on while charging and neither battery will vape. When the battery button is pressed no light, no vape, nothing. After about 10-15 quick presses of the button it will flash so I guess it is turning on and off. What I'm I doing wrong? Thanks

Theres a couple possibilities that come to mind.
1. The atomizer your using isnt touching the battery post like it should.
2. The starter kit was abused in shipping or you got duds. Your problem sounds like it might be like the one Ego-t Battery Repair - YouTube

I'd take it back if possible unless you like playing electrician.

eGo-T batteries come with a 5-click lock/unlock safety feature. Click the button 5 times within 2 seconds to lock/unlock. The light will flash 3 times to verify it is locked. Make sure your battery is unlocked before you try to use it. If you keep clicking on the button 10-15 times, you'll just confuse your poor battery. :)

Also, there is absolutely no need to charge it for 8 hours. The eGo-T comes equipped with overcharge protection and will not accept any charge after it's full. Just take it off the charger when the light turns green.

I just grabbed one of my ego-T upgrade batteries and plugged it into the charger. The light blinks on the battery and then goes out and the light on the charger turns red and pulses (which it will do until the battery is fully charged and then the light on the charger turns green).

So maybe the eGo-T's are somehow different from the other ego class batteries where the light on the battery stays lit while charging.

Keep the vape and namaste.

I agree. My Vision Spinner's light stays on... I don't remember what my Twists do and they are fully charged ATM so I can't test them. So maybe Joyetech batteries' light goes off.

ETA: I found a Twist that needed to be charged--looks like the blue light goes off on Joyetech batteries when they are charging. :D

Are your charging them with a USB or wall charger. Some USBs aren't strong enough to charge them correctly. I also don't trust USB charging. Wall outlet is much safer. If you are using a USB only, you can order a wall outlet adapter. Good luck & VAPE ON:vapor:

You're opening a big can of worms here, Tx... ;)

However, I agree with you--I always use a wall wart with my e-cig USB chargers. :)
