Hi all,

I am new here so i probably going to ask some dumb question.

Just bough eGo-T starter kit, charged batteries, attached the automizer, filled the tank with e-juice.

I have noticed that once the tank is half full i get all the juice dripping out through the breathing holes of the e-cig... maybe i forgot to do something? or does it alright?

I think that your talking about the mouthpiece? Not sure but if you are than it's more than likely because of condensation that has built up inside of it. The most common problem that people have with the ego-t is leaking from the bottom of the atomizer and that doesn't sound like what you're experiencing right now and so, you should be good.

Anyways, there might be a little juice mixed in with the condensation. So, you might wanna empty the rest out. Rinse it with water and blow it out. Hopefully, it won't be as bad the next time. Although, the weather your having over there might have something to do with it as well.

It's flooding is the simple answer. The solution could be annoying or it could be easy.

Some protips!

- Ensure the end cap of the cartridge is on all the way, if it's not it will leak.

- Ensure the cartridge is on all the way, it should pop into the atomiser so it's flush with the top.

- Don't suck too hard through the moutpiece: the harder you suck the more liquid you're going to draw into the atomiser chamber because it works on negative pressure. Use long, slow inhales.

- Don't leave it upright all the time. Gravity will pull the liquid through the bottom and it'll eventually make its way out. If it's not in use, lay it on its side instead.

- Your liquid could be too thin. I hate when people say you should add pg or vg because not everyone has just pg or vg lying around, right? lol. So if you have more than one liquid, try the thickest one you have. It is possible to add some vg to the juice to thicken it but it would obviously dilute the flavour and most people don't tend to have vg on its own.

- You 'may' have accidentally pushed the piercing straw down when you pierced the cartridge or put the cartridge in. Try and pull it up if it's possible if nothing else is working. If you have more than one atomiser, try the other one and be careful with the piercing straw. I broke my first EgoT atomiser this way and it leaks like you described.

Hope that helps a little!

Thank you for your replays, i can only blame my pure English.

I guess, I have this most common problem of leaking bottom of the atomizer...

Referring to the " leftfeild's " post:

I did all the steps that you described here; all part are attached, and the liquid is not too thin (i think), more over , the leak starts when the tank is almost empty... also i have noticed that when i take stronger blow then average i get all e-juice in my mouth..

I guess that's the way it's works?

are there some better cartridges or atomizers that have some prevention system for leaking? doesn't the starter kit cartridge should be able to deal with it?

It should be the opposite. When it has little liquid in it it shouldn't leak at all because there's not enough liquid in the cartridge to leak with.

It sounds more that it's leaking before it's almost empty and you see it as almost empty when you see it leaked because it leaked if that makes sense. It's only almost empty because it leaked. It sounds broken so you could ask for a replacement atomiser. It shouldn't be leaking like that.

Try a cartomiser (make sure it's 510). It's similar to the tank you have but it doesn't leak like that. I never found anything better that is like a tank for the ego than just a cartomiser. Everything else leaks or breaks too easily.

I think that it's logically possible... when the cartridge tank is full it's has now oxygen inside so it's sits tight on the atomizer, once the amount of the oxygen is big enough and the tank is getting hot by the atomizer, the oxygen expends and pushing the tank cartridge... the liquid is leaking through the tank and filling the atomizer, which is leaking and then i have the fluid all over the e-cig and in my mouth...

If cartomizer is working in a different way then maybe it's should work differently.. otherwise it will be same...

A cartomiser is different. It's a tube with filler/wadding in it you put the liquid in. It holds the liquid very well. The only bad thing about them is they only last about a week to two weeks as they are disposeable. But they are cheap for a pack of five. It's all one thing you put the liquid straight into.

They don't hold as much liquid in them as the tanks but bigger sizes are available.

I use cartomisers every day on my ego because the tanks don't do very well. They are very hard to get working properly. Cartomisers are a way to use your ego and still keep it portable.

I use ego tanks, don't like cartomizers. I don't have many leaking problems, though I do get a little bit now and then. I've been using the same tank for almost a month, refilling it several times a day.

I don't have any of the silicone end caps, but I've heard a number of recommendations for them, saying they will help stop leaks.

I try to refill my tanks before they get empty. Usually I refill when they are between 1/3 to 1/2 of max capacity.

Although I didn't have quite the issues some folk here have had with the eGo T systems, I did find a significant lack of flavor and TH.

Since I tried the eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers, my 'tanks' are in my PIF bin. No fuss, no muss and totally satisfying vape experience with the eMDCCs!

In fact, I took an eGo tank atty and de-plated it as a sample flav dripping PV. Not bad at all...

I'm not sure if this question has already been answered, but I would like to know why the taste and TH is better through dripping than the tank. I have an Ego T and have tanks as well as drip tips. When I fill up the tank, I get hardly any flavour and no TH. When I drip, the taste is stronger and the TH is marginally better. For convenience I would prefer the tank, but it seems to compromise flavour and TH. What are your thoughts?

eils51, when I was using ego Tanks, I was getting decent flavor and TH. The only thing I did special was to rotate atty's about once a week. Clean one out with isopropyl alcohol, then let it sit for a week drying while I used another one. I'd just swap them each week.

I don't use them any more. I started using EMDCC's, and I'm liking those a lot.
