Hi guys, finally got my hands on them!
Had a few vapes and the vapor production is amazing!

But somehow my first tank is already leaking on me :( The hole that the atomizer made on the tank is quite huge and i think is the huge hole on the tank (carts) is causing the leaks... I confirm that the tank is fully inserted into the atomizer already. Do I need to take note of any tips to prevent this leakage?

i mean the little cap you remove to fill liquid in your tank, my A tank has a hard plastic cap same material as the tank itself. but my B has a silicone type cap that is a little harder to get lined back up but i like it better i think. i havent had to mess with my wicks yet so i cant speak on that. hope you get the problem fixed fast.

For me, using type-B, any leakage is a very rare occurrence, usually because of temperature change when placing the unit in my car that's been roasting in the CA sun during my work day (black plastic interior elements reach about 185 degrees). Assuming we're not dealing with a temperature issue here, I can only assume you have a defective cap. I use the silicon ones and they've been fine. I prefer them over the plastic ones. As said previously, make sure the airwaves (inside grooves) match up, and it is fully seated, but if you continue experiencing problems, replace the caps. If it still continues, be hyper-aware of your vaping habits. Sounds stupid but if you are subconsciously blowing into the tank even for a micro-second, you could cause some leakage. I mention the extreme because there seems to be no other good explanation. I've had my eGo-T and type-B's for over 2 months and outside of the temperature leakages... I honestly can't recall a single major leak. Are you putting it in your pocket, vertical, and running around or something? Living in a pressurized environment? Curious. Exchange caps, else, exchange tanks, else... try some cartomizers. :) Post back here if you work out what's causing the leaking, please. Solving this for the few that experience it, is like trying to catch the yeti. :D

There seems to be a lot of sayings around the forum about the leak... The wick position, silicone vs plastic cap, alignment of the tank to the atomizer (the 2 vertical lines must match the ones on the tank and the atomizer)... I'm hoping is the plastic cap problem.

I have changed to another atomizer and battery and seems like now it is leaking more on the tanks inside the atomizer side rather than all over the place.

There will be some leakage inside the atomizer on the side of the tanks, and maybe a drop or two on the plate inside the atomizer... this is fine, does not increase from the 1st hour to the 10th hour, and it operates perfectly for days on end in such condition, without leading to any failures or greater leaks. I consider such minimal leaks a characteristic rather than a problem or flaw, since it doesn't lead to reduced performance or failure, and is of such a finite amount its not worth factoring into your juice usage. As for the wick position... that's only a factor if its not firing or you're getting dry hits despite juice, etc. The wick is inside a thin metal spike and moving or even removing it doesn't affect the width or height of the spike, so adjusting it won't affect a leaking problem, imo. (My wick is at the bottom of the slant of the metal spike, so barely visible... has always worked perfectly and has been like that in every atomizer I've used) I'm happy to be schooled on that, if someone who has used an eGo-T longer than me (...woah, 3 months tomorrow :D) wants to explain otherwise. :)

On analogs I smoke Mild Seven, contains 10mg, for this Mild Seven juice although it's only 11mg, I feel the throat hit is kinda harsh and makes my throat dry. Is that the usual experience you get while vaping?

Yes Jimoo, you get cotton mouth when you vape.. takes a while to get used to it, meanwhile, drink more water to help with the dry throat and also helps detox your body with all the chemical built up when smoking analogs too :)

yea, do drink more water than u usually do, it helps .... :D

but hor, from now onwards, yr urine will have a stronger smell, as its dexoting the vaporing...

had u had yr diahorrea yet ? :x

No la.. Only vaped for less than 50 puffs. Just now had a disaster while driving and vaping. The juices leak out all over the button on the battery and on my hands and some in my mouth too.. I didn't experience any dry hits or burns but the leak is driving me crazy. What am I doing wrong here... The tank is fully inserted into the atomizer and I loosen the screws between the battery and atomizer, still having this major leak.
