I have been happily vaping my Ego-T (using both Type A and B attys) for the last 3 months since I threw out the last pack of analogs :)

I am thrilled to see the New Ego-C atty's but I am not really sure my best course of action.
It seems like it would be better to buy an entire kit and then sell the batteries and charger. I really prefer to have two attys at once for diff flavor profiles. To buy two new C atomizer bodies plus a five pack of atty heads is looking to cost about $55. I have two 1000mAh batteries from my original purchase so I do not really need (or want) the two new smaller batteries.

Am I missing a way to make the switch to the new atomizer bodies a little cheaper?

I know that the batteries will work since their are on my ego-T. I was just hoping to spend a little less for the initial switch. I have tanks, mouthpieces, silicone caps (the C uses type-A parts for these) ... Just looking for the cheapest route.

But then again $30 for the two C-bodies would just be a one-time investment (until I mess something up :) )
It looks like you can get the atomizer heads for about $25 for a five pack. So $5 per burned out atty as opposed to the $10+ I have been paying for the Type A & B's

I own the "T" and the "C". The batteries are of course interchangeable. You can buy the new C components piece meal from places like cignot, but once you add it up it might be better just to get a kit and have the extra batteries. Also, just a heads up that LR attys are now starting to hit the market and I got some insider info that a "B"- style tank and attys will be coming soon too. I prefer the B over the A, so if I had to do it all over again I would wait for the B LR.

I think I am just spoiled with my bigger batteries

Another upside to a new kit: I bought a blue ego-T so my batteries wouldn't match LOL j/k
It's not all or nothing. Simple, just get 1 C cone/holder & the attys in a color that goes w/ blue (if blue is not avail. now) like silver or black which will look great. You still have multiple attys w/ the A or B attys.

That is one of the options I looked at. For some reason I had it in my head that I had to have two C cones, but I have read where others just switch out the atty head for different flavors....
Money is tighter than normal right now, that is why I was looking for the cheapest solution.
And I really was kidding about the colors :) As long as it isnt an analog it can be any color!

I bought the $20.00 (25.00 with shipping) ego-c sample kit (from cignot) to put on my ego battery to see if I even like the new changeable system. It came with the atomizer, cone, head, and tank. Everything you need to try out. Well worth the 25.00 bucks. I would recommend this route to start if money is an issue.

Thanks! I had looked at this item (Cignot is my atty supplier). This is probably what I will do for now (only $7 more than the cone by itself). Then I can get the 5pack of heads if I do like it :)

I am a fan of the LR atty's myself as well as the Type B tank(I was advised to buy them with my initial kit). I have seen the LR on a few sites but everyone was sold out, so I will just have to keep checking back.

I have the Type B tanks. Only the batteries would switch over; So I bought a second starter kit from OvaleUSA. During the holiday sales, the kit was about $10 cheaper than the sum of the individual parts to go on to my batteries. So now I have 4 batts (3 @ 650mah and 1 @ 900mah) and two chargers. I added two silver cones for the LR attys - - standard attys go in the black cones.

I love my eGO-C. I works for me. ymmv
