The size of the tank is the biggest difference. Type A is roughly 1 ml and Type B is roughly 2 ml capacity

There is some performance difference, as well. I find the draw a little better on the B and the flavor comes through a little better, but they are more prone to leaking/flooding issues. I still like and occasionally use both

Hello and welcome!

The type "a" system has a conical atty (wide at the battery connection, narrower at the mouth) and the tank holds about 1ml of juice.

The type "b" system is straight all the way up and the tank holds about 2ml.

I've only used the the type B and love it. If you're looking for a supplier I would highly recommend Cignot. Quality is awesome and their customer service (Vicki is amazing) is second to none. :vapor:

Hello! This is my first posting here, I've been lurking a bit, but I'm still a little unsure about one thing, what is the difference between the ego-t type a and type b?

Hi! This is MY first posting here, too, but I've been a lurker for over a year! ;-)

Anywhoo, as folks above have said, Type A has a cone shaped atti, and Type B has a cylindrical atti. I got my Ego-t Type A about 3 weeks ago and LOVED the plumes of vapor (I like straight VG), but my favorite juices on a Joye 510 didn't taste as strong; kinda weak and flat. After a few days, I wasn't as happy.

I watched a few YouTube videos describing how to get more flavor from ego-t, and the answer seemed to be for me to use Type B LR atties and tanks, so that's what I did. MUCH BETTER! I thought THAT was the final solution, so about 2 weeks ago I began ordering samples of juice from different vendors. IMHO, the Type B LR provided more flavor (and vapor) than Type A.

When my 24mg flavor samples arrived in the mail this past week (from Alien Visions), I was anxious to try them all. I filled several tanks about half full of each flavor, and began the taste test, using type B LR atti...and GAGGERS!! EVERY flavor sucked on the Type B LR. Yet, because so many ECF folks have raved about how good Alien Visions juice is, I decided to try them on the Type A standard attie. I tried each of them again yesterday...and they are ALL AMAZING!!!

I didn't know it until now, but some juice (Alien Vision) tastes better on a Type A standard attie, while others seem to taste better on a Type B LR (AmericanELiquid, EC Blend, Velvet Vapors).

In the 3 weeks I've had my Ego-T, I've had a few leaky tanks on both Type A and B, but so far I've been able to solve ALL leaks by adjusting the wick a little higher in the tube, so I'm a completely 'happy camper' with BOTH Type A and Type B LR.

I've used e-cigs for about 18 months now, but the Ego-T (Type A standard AND Type B LR) is the first PV I LOVE!

Knowing what I know NOW, if you ask me which type Ego-T you should get, I would have to ask, "Which brands of juice will you use?"

For ME, if I use Type A - Alien Vision is GREAT! (but sucks with Type B LR)
If I use Type B LR - EC Blend and AmericanELiquid is GREAT! I haven't sampled all my Velvet Vapors yet, but they seem to be VERY GOOD on Type B LR...not bad (but not so good) on Type A.

I don't know if this will help you, but it sure would have helped me 3 weeks ago! ;-)

Good Luck.......and WELCOME to BOTH OF US!! :D
