eGo-T type B or 510-t atomizer or Other decision

Hi. I've been vaping now since April and LOVE IT. I've used eGo and eGo-T type As and both are gone the eGo i had debridged leaks way too much for dripping despite whatever i did so that was gone. I've ruined the ego-t attys from cleaning the way Vicky from cignot showed on her video and am now direct dripping those attys due to wicks falling apart. as much as i hate the tinkering with these attys i really love the fact that i dont have to keep topping off so much and it helps when I'm at work and trying to vape discretely and not have to worry about top offs.

Anywho, i vape A LOT (3-6 ml a day depending on work day or home bound) and dont mind cleaning my attys but with the bad experience i've had with cleaning the tank attys, i'm too scared to do it again which brings me to my dilemma.

Ego-T type B: I love the fact that it holds almsot 2 mL as i'm practically a chain vaper at home and would reduce the amount of fill ups as well as hearing how it's a good improvement over the type As in vapor production and flavor departments. The only thing i'm not liking is all the stuff about how fussy they are just like the type As and dont want to risk losing the wick again and being "disabled" in vaping

510-T: From what i'm reading, there is very little problems with these and work almost or just as well as the ego-t. with a much smaller juice capacity, i'd have to fill up a lot more to use these which is fine with me since repeated filling is better than tinkering


I'm open to other suggestions for atomizers as long as they are at least discrete enough to put in my pocket without bulging. Also a suggestion for an atomizer or mod for my chain vaping habit would be good as well! It must also be usable on an eGo battery as that is the only batteries i have and not willing to buy a whole new kit just yet since i'm limited on gear money and will be picking up a lot of juice for my habit when buying my gear THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

Of the ones you've mentioned, I like the Ego-T Type B Tank - regular atomizer. I have 5 of them - including a passthrough. I don't do radical cleaning, and I don't do tinkering. I blow them out on about every 4th fill and don't do anything with them until the performance starts to drop. When the performance drops, I run a lot of hot water through them - blow them out - do several dry burns - run more hot water through them - blow them out - let them sit overnight to dry - and put them back in use. I must add that I use only genuine Joye attys and tanks. I have about a month on all 5 and no problems at all. I think that overall performance makes them one of the top contenders in the medium priced PVs. I definitely think that the Type Bs are a radical improvement over the Type As.

low res or standard? do you do dry burns with the wick and needle plate still there? because i can't see anyway to know if you've gotten any of the crud off unless you take it apart.

I also like the eGo T type B (LR) better than the type A (regular resistance.) Noticeably more vapor AND an easier draw. None of that "sucking on a straw" feeling like I get with cartos such as the Boge LR. That's why I love the tanks.

But I've only had the type B LR for a week and it may not last as long. Both of my type A's have gone about 4 months so far, alternating between them. The B is also noticeably heavier and bulkier, but no big deal. In fact I like that.

By the way, the type B leaks occasionally, just like the A. Even after trying these new ceramic caps on both. So I don't see any improvement in the leaking department. However, it is intermittent. Neither has leaked for several days. Why they leak is still a mystery to me and I've tried everything I've read on this blog, I think, except messing with the atomizer itself.

Just one persons observation. Sampling error of poll = 50 % ?

I use standard resistance and I do dry burns with the unit still assembled. True, I can't see if all of the crud is off, but it works for me. Like I said, I don't do radical cleaning and tinkering. When and if the atty dies, I'll simply replace it. I think that doing it this way makes it last longer, and I don't kill them myself.

I dont mind the leaking so much. My type As have leaked enough where it doesn't bother me and is the equivalent of how often i wipe the regular eGo cart lol. Though i'm trying to avoid low res since i really enjoy cool vapors and the flavor seems much more cleaner that way. The draw is very tempting from what i've read on the other threads and the weight is definitely not an issue i like it heavy anyway and it makes me feel like the pv is built sturdier.

I usually dry burn 4 times - about 4 seconds each time. Please keep in mind this is with a regular resistance atty. I have no idea what a LR would take.

hmm...seems safe. i happen to have one that i put back together for work purposes. it still has a very metallic taste that i can't get rid of but if i prime pull it about 2 or 3 times, the flavor is awesome for 3 hits at most. been vaping it this way for about 24 hours and hasn't leaked badly except when i over primed it for one tank and found a small pool of juice on the battery. still have one more wick that hasn't fallen apart and will try to put it back into another atty and try to see if it'll work out for me. hopefully they'll last till i get my new attys :/

I've been super-pleased with my Type B LR system. I use the silicone tank caps and clean my attys about once per week in my ultrasonic cleaner. Leaks are minimal and due to high temperatures. Combined with USB passthrough batteries, this system is a real winner.

I am pleased with the type lr b also but have not used them in a while i have been using the dual coil carto's and they are great but a carto only been lasting a couple of days but they are cheap.

How big are the XL tanks?

If they're the whistle tip ones I'm thinking of then alas they're freakin tiny. (about 0.7ml iirc versus the regular tank which is 0.5ml iirc)

I have the 510 T with the XL carts to go with it. It does not leak. It came with 2 atty's, I use one all day and stick it in hot water over night (then let it dry) while I use the other the next day. I have been using them for over a month and no problems. I also rotate my carts and run water through them when I am done. They seem to last much longer then using one and refilling it all the time. Only problem I have is battery life, so I ordered a mod to help out lol.
