Hello forum - long time lurker, first time poster.
So I have 2 new eGo-T Upgrade batteries (listed as 1000mA). Well, mine doesn't work that way. I have a couple questions, and hopefully someone here can enlighten me!
1) On both of these "eGo T Upgrade" batteries, there is no blue or orange light. It's either bright white, or dim white after the 5-6 second hold to switch modes. So - which mode is which? I want to use the constant voltage mode (what would have been the 'blue' mode). Also, are these genuine if the LED colors are wrong?
2) I tried to charge both of them via the supplied USB cables. No lights, no indication of charging (or not). I'm trying the recommended "use it for a while to drain the battery and then plug it in and see if a light comes on" method. But given that the LED colors are different, has there also been a change to charge indication? What SHOULD I be seeing when I plug it in? update: Ok, so this morning I try plugging it in to the computer again. No lights, no indication of anything one way or another. The battery is in 'On' mode. So for ....s I hit the button (as if to start a vape) while it's plugged in. Then the red light surround around the USB port on the battery lights up red! So I'm guessing it's in 'charge' mode now. Am I correct in believing that it will turn a different color or off when it is done charging? And is it normal to 'initiate a charge' by pressing the button or else no light comes on?
3) What do you recommend for a wall-charger? I would like to purchase one. I figure I can just grab a 5v 1000mA USB to wall adapter plug from Radio Shack?
