Hey guys, I've been having trouble with my Ego T2's.. When I first started vaping about 3 months ago on a standard 900mah Ego battery, I was getting huge, thick clouds of vapor that had plenty of flavor and throat hit. I now have a VV battery, and haven't been able to get what I'm desiring (especially taste and that feeling of thick vapor).

For some reason, the thickness and amount of vapor produced from my Ego T2's and Ego-Twist style battery has been diminishing; along with the great flavor I love, the feeling of a thick heavy vapor cloud in my lungs, visible vapor exhaled, and definitely throat hit.
... At first I thought it was because I switched to 2.2ohm wicks, since my shop ran out of 1.8s. I've tried lifting the silicone cap on the coil a bit, and sometimes that fixes the problem, for a few hits until the cap slides back down. I've tried plugging 1 of the air-holes, makes no difference. I tried cutting little notches into the silicone cap where the wicks line up, it seemed to work for 1 coil, than when I got new coils and new juice, it hasn't worked since. I thought maybe my clearo was shot but I tried a new one with a new 1.8ohm coil and it's still not the same

What is the deal?? I've been fiending for a cig for the past 3 weeks or so since this has been getting worse. I'll get it working right for a few minutes and than it's back to weak/thin vapor for the rest of the day. It's been 3 months without a cig and I've been really trying not to give in the past few weeks. When it's working like it should, it's soo satisfying and I couldn't even imagine a cig, but this is getting really aggravating.

I've searched this entire forum and found a few people with the same problem.. Maybe I should try Kanger brand T2's instead of the Ego T2's I get from my local vape shop??

Only way I've been getting something close to the hits I'm suppose to get from these, is if I inhale hard and fast straight to my lungs, than the flavor definitely comes back and the vapor seems thicker again. If I do this. I usually turn down the voltage a tad to ease on the TH and it seems to give me the flavor back..

But I don't like to vape this way. When these are working correctly, I'll draw on it super lightly and slowly into my mouth for a couple seconds, than inhale the mouth-cloud into my lungs and quickly exhale (like I would a cigarette).. Lately, I'll have to inhale it into my mouth for like 10 seconds (instead of 3 seconds when it works right), and it's still giving me less vapor, no flavor, hardly any TH, thin hit..

Thanks in advance

Okay I tried the same juice I've been using (a great marshmellow flavor) in a brand new carto, expecting to finally get that great flavor and TH I've been missing out on. It's hitting about the same.. Could it be my juice??

I just bought a new bottle and got the big one (50mL) because I decided this is my favorite flavor.. Maybe steeping will help?

Let me just throw this possibility out there because I've been dealing with same thing as you, wondering why I'm not getting hits as strong and thick as I was getting a few weeks ago, even if I use a brand new clearo:

I'm considering the possibility that the difference is in my perception, and that as I become more comfortable and familiar with vaping, my definition of "big, full, mounds of vapor and strong TH" has changed. I'm not saying I'm convinced that it's true, just considering the possibility.

That said, I do find there's a huge difference between a new clearo and a clearo that I've already used for a good number of ml of juice.

Hi M DuBb,
It could be alot of things. Do you have a multi-meter? Is the coil/wick screwded down tight? Is there any leaking on the top of your battery positve pin? Are you sure the battery is fully charged ?
If I couldn't figure out the problem.....YES, the Kanger T2 have been great for me, been using since Sept. 1st. Just remember to clean them and the replacement heads in at least very hot water before first use. Don't know if you have a spare charger, but its nice to have one to try if you don't have the multi-meter.
I buy my Kanger stuff at SUREVAPES AND VAPINGME
Good luck
