I also posted this in the "New tank" thread but it being so long thought I would start a thread here also
Ok I have been using my tank for close to 3 weeks now. I have to say I have had no leaks at all. Today When I went to fill my tank I noticed that my liquid which is a clear pale gold. Pure Cig with menthol 30mg 50/50, was a dark brown in the bottom of the tank. Does the atty need cleaning? Is this normal? I haven't noticed a change in vapor or taste. Should I be rinsing out the tanks between fillings?

How did you clean your atty. I've read so many different methods not sure which one to use?

Kellie, my cleaning method: For cleaning, I am using heated distilled water that I am running thru the atty with a turkey baster and then soaking it for 15 mins and then blowing out. I let it dry for 24hrs and it works like new. (The next time I clean my ego-t's I'm not even going to wait 24hrs....a couple quick dry burns and load it up with juice.)

I have tried the IPA cleaning that cuzzicon? demonstrated on a video and just didn't like the chemical taste I got after letting it dry for 48hrs. But each to their own.

cheers,

Will boiled water work as well as distilled? Oh do you rinse out your tanks?

Use the distilled water, as mentioned no impurities and it's only .80 a gallon a walmart.

yes. I get a cup of hot distilled water and soak them for 15 minutes and let dry on a towel. I do take them apart with a paper clip.

cheers,
