I'm getting my Ego delivered on Monday, if I want to convert it to a tank do I just need a tank atomizer and some tanks? Or is their something more involved. I like the fact I can go from one format to the other, I just want to make sure I know what to order so I can try the tank system. You guys are awesome, I am so addicted to ECF!!!!! :p

Wait a sec... this is wild news to me. So you guys are saying I can buy a few ego T attys and empty cartridges and just use them on my ego batteries and it's just like ego tank? So i don't have to buy a whole new $65 ego tank system? That is wild, but not sure if i'm reading this right. Anyone done a comparison as to what works out cheaper in terms of consumption over a time period... the boge soft top cartomizers used on Ego system (original ego system) or the ego T cartridges and attys (with the ego battery, so i'm guessing that turns it into a tank)? I'd love to know if anyone has tried both and compared em cost wise. Oh, and how frequently do you go thru the ego T cartridges and attys? Thanks so much if anyone offers an opinion. BTW, I'm sooo glad i saw this thread! I was about 2 days away from buying a whole new tank system.

That's right orachel, just get one or two eGo-t attys and one set of tanks - also suggest getting some silicon soft caps for the tanks. And you have an eGo-t - battery fits all 510 connections.

Suggest getting the 'B type/cylinder' attys (they seems to work better and hold more ejuice) and tanks and soft caps:

Looks like Vicky's out of the B caps :(

But you can get these anywhere..... TW has them. And the hard caps will work - just they're more prone to leaks.

As far as comparison to the cartos - the eGo size (same size as the B type attys) Dual Coil Cartos from Madvapes - although I don't have a long time with the one I'm trying now - they are certainly cheaper and so far a good vape. They have the soft rubber mouthpiece which is nice. The only drawback is there is a filler and sometimes people (esp. me :) can taste that filler - and fillers do burn. It's why the CE2's no filler cartos and the tanks were invented. But the DCC's ego size are worth a shot imo, for the price.

Just a side note:

You might want to order more than one cone/atty. They eventuaylly go bad, though you can clean them a number a times before they give up the ghost. That way you have a backup when you're cleaning the first one.
