EGO/Tornado - White color mod

I have a collection of black Tornado's and 1 white one. After about 2-3 weeks of use, i noticed the white began to look dingy and yellow. For about 2 months i just let the white one sit because i was so disgusted with it...then a light when off in my head! Why not remove the white coating?

So i got the old bench grinder out with a polishing wheel and went to work. After 10 minutes and some metal polish, here's what i got...

Pretty nice! Now, theoretically, could you get some Rustoleum or another paint geared for metal and paint it any color you wanted?

Or use some colored heat shrink to create a colorfast covering. I prefer clear though.

Yeah i have no desire to paint a PV...i think the more raw it looks, the better. I am very pleased with this look....i may take a couple of my original black ones (glossy paint not rubbery paint) and do the same thing...
