Ego twist problem

I have an issue with my ego twist..

the part on the bottom where you twist to change the voltage used to be nice and tight.... now its really loose and i cant stand it..

does anyone know how i can tighten it back up?

Have had the same problem on three of mine. Have tried crimping it slightly with pliers but no dice. It's held on by a nipple extrusion at the back of the disc which sits in a plastic clip wedged into the tube. Not sure it's possible so I've just clear taped mine at my preferred voltage.

I keep coming back to it, trying different things to stiffen it again. I'll probably destroy it trying. Will let you know if I find a solution.

Thanks for these posts. I've been doing just fine with my basic Ego-T's but keep reading how GREAT the twist is. Was getting close to buying one but now...no.

I still love the Twist! Three months trouble-free use for AUD21.50 is pretty good going, about 25c a day. I just can't bring myself to throw it away while it still works, hehehe.

wait a min. wait a min...... the ego twist is awesome....

im not saying it sucks or anything.. this thing is better than some mods ive seen... check out the grimmgreen channel on youtube about his review on the twist.. this thing is perfect really.. its just that sense i roughed up my ego twist a little bit.. it got loose.. and so im just trying to get it back to normal.. but its my fault that its loose.

i understand.. which is why i havent messed with mine yet... i did put the tape on it though..

i was just hoping for someone to reply that has had the same problem and found a fix for it..
