If you like eGo's then you should love them. That being said all ego's have the same problem, being that if the button or battery dies (and they will at some point) you have to buy an entire new unit to fix the problem, and with the twist that's 30 dollars. Still, ego's are solid choices for those getting their feet wet, and for what it's worth I've thought about getting a twist lol.

If you already have a PV, the Twist would be an o.k. introduction to VV. If you're thinking of getting two of them because you don't have a backup, you'd probably be better off getting a Lavatube Version 1.5 full kit for only $15 more. It's a full featured 3-6V VV PV with 0.1V increments, replaceable batteries and it's a vast improvement over the original Lavatube. They're $75.50 at CCV including shipping, 2 batt's, a charger and a free $10 Mega DC Carto. If you add all that up, it's cheaper than 2 Twists and it's not disposable.

I just got my twist 3 days ago and think its great. Its longer than a regular ego and doesnt last as long if you use the higher voltage settings but it works really good. I have a lavatube too but it can be a little bulky when out and about and my wife prefers me to use the smaller ego type when I'm with her and who am I to argue with my wife.

I just got my 650mAh Twist today and its the same size as my 1000mAh kGo. I would have gotten the 1000mAh one, but I don't like how long it is and I'm a fairly light vaper so it doesn't matter as much.

So far, I think this thing is great! I'm using it with a Stardust and I've been having fun experimenting with the voltages. I got it because I was curious about VV but didn't want to spend a ton of money or have a huge PV. So for me, this was perfect as far as the size and price goes. One thing I don't like is the plastic indented button, but that's not a big deal.
