Both my ego and ego twist have now opened up randomly!
bought cheap but overpriced knockoff T at local smoke shop... 5 days and battery unsealed itself. Manager tried to tell me they all do it but was kind enough to replace with what I hope is a longer lasting model.

bought twist on eBay in a kit. knockoff for sure. it also separated from base. can see globs of glue, I think, maybe savable?
eBay vender is quickly shipping me a new one with an extra just in case. so nice seller.

Are they all going to split, like shop owner said? super glue it preemptively? No buying something new for awhile. hubby might then kill me!
:danger:to health and well being, hehe...

Yes, they are just press fit together. I have a few of them and have put a couple back together by just pressing the parts. Carefully though, they have to be straight. If they were not tight, I would use some epoxy. Doesn't take much. Crazy glue is worth trying too. I would use the really thin type and use it on the joint after assembling it. That's just if I couldn't get help from the supplier.

I love my eGos but I always get the real ones because I feel they truly are worth it. Only had one that suffered a drop on concrete and pushed the button so far in, I couldn't repair it. I've got about 4 eGos ready to go - and a couple of those are going on for a year now.

The fake ones are probably OK for folk who are wanting to try an e-cig short termand see if it's for them. For me, I alternate between my great Twists and my lovely Red Provari. :)

lol, I alway put in a case in my purse, too big for pockets! have not dropped either. usually poke it down cleavage/bra hehe. don't think the damage is being done there!
they just popped off (the battery tops, not body parts!;) )
careful to not tighten anything too hard, only use chargers that came with. think it may just be a case of brand name = better quality. Will look into actual brand name after hubby sticker shock of starting to vape wears off.

Thank you for replies!
