So it seems like most ego style batteries top out at about 9-9.5 watts or 2.5 amps. Are there any that push that higher? It would be great to have an ego style battery that could produce around 13 watts.

itaste VV. has VV/VW and a 3.5A cell in it. there is also a NEWER Itaste CLK, i beleive also has a 3.5A cell in it.

other then that, i think your out of luck lol, im on the same search for that mystical unicorn

Dang, if you watch the pbusardo videos for those devices they seem to actually have the same 2.5amp limit. Must be a 3.5 amp battery, but the board limits it to 2.5. Glad to see i'm not the only one interested in a higher power 14mm device though.

From June 2012:
.... I got this from Wayne at heaven gifts (in China) today: (also a note on the amp limit on the Twist- a question in 'eGo-types' that was lingering ;) )

Thank you for your order. Yes, we have ordered 1.5ohm, 1.8oh, 2.2ohm and 2.5ohm coil units for those Coil Changeble cartomizers. They are delayed by the factory, but will soon be listed on our website. Some 1.8ohm Coil Units will be available in a few hours.

The MAX current limit on the ego c twist battery is 3.0A, I got the information from the Joyetech engineer.

i want to say its all on how its setup (coil res, V, or W mode) - i own a mvp which is same board as the VV just a bigger batter cell.

for example, the board only allows for 11W in watts mode, but if you use a 1.8ohm coil and go to 5V, it surpases 11W and is actualy firing 13W at 2.8A.

real life experiance------------i have one tank that is 1ohm and when fired on the battery it came with which is a 3.5A cell, i watched how red the coil got. put it on an OLD genuine joyetech and watched, same glow. tried it on the mvp, same glow when set at 3.7V - if set at 11W it barely lit. put it on some noname ego from FT, and it barely turned red. --- just from that id have to beleive the VV board fires 3.5A. the VV and MVP are the same board.
