Hello,

I picked up an eGo USB Passthrough to try out a 510 based battery (rather than getting a whole new kit). It didn't come with any instructions at all.

The end does light up red when I plugged in the USB cable, and it turned off after a little while which indicates it was fully charged.

I have read there is a way to lock the button by pressing 5 times, and then pressing 5 times again to unlock. Is this correct? This doesn't seem to do anything on the one I received.

Also, I tried the button without an atomizer, and it seems to stay lit when held, does that mean there is no auto-cutoff?

Any insight would be appreciated.

The new ego-T batteries turn off with 5 clicks, the older ego batteries do not. When I went to order a new battery the other day I noticed they sell the 5 click ones as ego-t's to me they are the same battery but do not have the 5 click option and are available in different colors than the old ones. I also do not think the Passthru batteries offer the 5 click turn off at this time.
