Am new, have Blu and 510. happy with both for diff reason.
Blu for stealth vaping
510 for lounge and driving vaping

was just about to order an ego, checking reviews i see riva at 100 MAH more than ego. I don't want to do too many upgrades like some in here. just want a consistant TH consistant Vapor and consistant Batt Life

Has anyone tried both of these units and/or another of the same to compare and decide which is the best.

Thanks

Keep vaping

Its basically the same thing. You are right about the extra 100mAh but it is also longer in size. In fact, the ego has 900mAh batteries now too but of course, this will also mean that it will be larger.

I have no experience with both of these models. My experience is with another clone called the Maxx.

I chose this one over the competition mainly due to the better manual button and cheaper prices. Its one hell of a model and i recommend it.

Overall, the ego and similar models are receiving good reviews and its for a good reason.

I just got my Riva Monday..
All I can say is WOW.

The very first battery literally lasted me 26 hours (minus sleeping time of 8.5) so about 17.5 hours of actual usage.
I was a pack/day smoker, now I vape fairly heavy, maybe 3-4 hits every 10 minutes.

Also, I did not notice a drop off in vapor volume/flavor/TH untill maybe 5 hits before the battery was completely dead. That is very good if you ask me.

Definately got great vapor volume and TH with this thing, and it works great with 510 Cartomizers.

I also love the look and feel of it.

Everyone is right, the EGO/Tornado/Riva/T-Rex/Maxx/Hello are all pretty much the same things.

And my choice for the Riva was just purely cosmetic, I like the Black and Gold combonation. I didn't see that in the other models.

I think the only negative thing I can say about Riva, is the USB charger cord is only about a foot or so long. Maybe 2 ft., but it's Pretty short. But definately not a deal breaker.

Hope that is helpfull.
