I purchased a Ego VV (3.2v~3.7v~4.2v) passthru 650mAh from a Chinese vendor, according to their info page the voltage settings should be stabled when usb connected. I'm having trouble to understand their description of use if it means that it requires 5 clicks to switch desired voltage for each puff or should it remain the same voltage until I reset? I got the model with retractable usb cord and I couldn't manage to keep the higher voltage settings for more than 5 minutes, it constantly reversed back to the default (3.2v). Is this a defected product or my misunderstanding as to how vv battery works???

i have the VV Ego non-passthru. 5 clicks to change voltage and it stays there. after charging, the voltage goes back to the lowest setting, but thats the only time it changes without me changing it.

my first vv ego lasted about a week before it came off the charger dead. my replacement is going strong, but it seems like the vv egos have a ways to come before all the kinks have been worked out.

Hey jawal! I pulled out my VV eGo this evening, and I put a different cartomizer on it. When I first started vaping I was using really low resistant cartos..I've since stepped it up a bit, but anyway, I put one of these cartos on and the thing is staying where I put it to start with, so maybe it isn't the VV battery being bad, but needing a little higher resistant cart on it. Try that on yours and see if that dosen't take care of the problem.

I ordered one from LiteCig and it will arrive tomorrow, hope this one works. Wish me luck!

Thanks Kay! I tried with various resistant cartos, no go. Filed a RMA ticket with my vendor and they immediately offered me a replacement with a Joyetech Ego passthru instead of the original off brand VV one I got. Figure that!:?:

So what you got to start with wasen't an actual eGo?? My passthrough's been doing fine and held at the volts I want since I put the right carto on it! lol! DAH Kay!

It's the one with retractable usb cord which can be charged on either end, is eGo type but not made by Joyetech. I personally prefer the genuine Joyetech products better, but they didn't carry the VV usb passthru with removable cord. Learn my lesson this time.:(
