I got a couple ego-w kits in yesterday, Iv been abusing mine on purpose. Seems the manufacturer of my model used a decently thick plastic, so I don't see any issues with cracking as of yet. Iv put about 7ml through it already. The coil stays nice and wet and I am not noticing any carbon buildup yet either. Iv actually managed to all but destroy most of my 510 atty's and even an Iken Cannon 2.0 in a matter of days with buildup on the coils. Must just be the way I vape, but so far so good on the ego-w I will post more news after a few more days with the same one.

I got 3 Ego-W / F1 from a friend who bought them from a source in china (not joye tech) and love them .The part that covers the ce-3 (thats what they call the cartomizer) clicks very firmly into place. I have been using mine for a month and its working perfect, no leaks and great flavor.Cartomizers are clear in color, quite durable plastic attached very well to metal part (will never separate). Has a manual button which is black. 5 click on / off safety. The one thing I did not like was the amount of primer in the ce-3. I had to flush with hot water and a syringe many times to get rid of the primer taste and then flush again a few days later because it was tasting burned but now three weeks later no primer no burnt taste just great convenient vaping.Syringe is absolutely necessary to flush out primer and put in / change juice. I will not be going back to regular replaceable carts and atomizers. In my opinion these are great quality and I could see this cartomizer lasting a very long time.

Well, I am 5 days, and 15ml of e-liquid through just one of the ego w clearos. I still see very little buildup, just a blackening of the atomizer coil. It still hits harder than any standard resistance 510 atty i'v ever used. It performs nearly as well as my favorite low resistance attys. I do experience leakage from the fill hole you put the needle into, but only slight leakage and only when I leave it on its side overnight. It doesn't ever come out of the sleeve that covers the ce-3, I just notice it when I pop off the cover to inspect the ce-3. A quick wipe and back to vape heaven! Mine did not have any primer on it when I got it. So I was able to fill and enjoy it right away. I also notice no cracking, or wearing out of the plastic in anyway. And I have been rough on this one intentionally, just to see if someone who is more careless than myself will run into issues with this model. ie: my girlfriend. She is notoriously rough on e-cigs. So far hers has held up beyond expectations as well. I also experience very little gurgling if any at all. :D a far cry from my new ce-2 tank I just got from a friend.

Thanks for answering my question about leaking before I asked I don't mind if it leaks inside as long as it doesn't get all over my clothes :(

Yeah, in my experience the leakage is minimal and you wont notice it unless you take the metal cover off the ce-3 and look at the top. I did hear of someone who got one of the early models, and had it crack in his pocket. leaking nearly 2ml of juice. But my durability tests have given me a lot of confidence in their build quality now. Again only 5 days into it... so keep that in mind.

I'll follow this thread, I'd really like to get something that is leak proof. I've ruined a nice pair of trousers and countless hoodies from keeping my ego in my pocket. I keep it wrapped in a quarter sheet of bounty all the time now just in case but worring about the battery the juice and the leaking sucks would really love to just have to worry about the two.

How about getting one of those cheap faux leather lanyards to keep that leaky ego in, instead of a paper towel. At least if you get liquid on one of those, you can wash it and reuse it... Looks nicer and doesn't leave behind lint like a paper towel would. I assume you are a fan of dripping? I love dripping into my atties. And I have to say, again this ego-w is blowing me away with the flavor, vapor and TH I get out of it... If it keeps going like this, I may never have to drip again.

check out the phatclouds mb tanks. I am vaping on one now and just ordered the e gar. no syringe needed to fill. just pop the mouthpiece out and top up. holds a ton of juice. I have an original here that has little rubber caps inside and only had a leak once, my fault for putting the rubber discs in wrong.

Those do look neat, and the easier fill method on them sounds awesome too. Although I do have to say, I am loving the thin 801 sized whisle tip on my ego-w. The tips on those MB tanks look similar to the ones on the madvapes ego mega DCC's and personally, I liked them at first. But I tired of the bulky rubber feel on my lips. I was a often seen smoking a B&M Wine before I found e-cigs so I am partial to the whistle tip. Glad to know there is something similar I can tell people about now.

Edit: Whoa! Just saw the e-gar on that site, It looks sweet!

I do have some gripes about the ego-w I forgot to mention. I wish the pen cap was a click on instead of thread on. I just never use my pen cap because it is such a PITA to take it off and put it back on... and so easy to lose it. I just keep it in my desk drawer and put it on if I know I will not be using the W for a while. Oh another note, I do every so often get some juice in my mouth from the mouthpiece, not sure how its getting there, as lately I havn't seen much leakage or buildup of juice residue, but its there, and I have to wipe and or rinse the mouthpiece every so often. Still, it happens less often than when I drip through a drip tip.

ya I just got an e gar. hoping it will be here today in the mail. I have 2 bottles of hilton waiting for it to show. The tips are a whistle type but hard plastic. I've filled mine 6 times now and still going strong. had an original now for some time.

I looked at these. I still have an ego t a type I use for a strong cigar juice. sometimes muted flavour is a good thing. I like to try out new gadgets but I'm seeing mixed reviews here on the w so I'll let others continue to be Guinea pigs

Bounty is lint free :) but I know what you mean in a jam if I have to grab a kleenex or .... wipe my ego gets hairy on the outside from all the fibres.

Yea I'm getting close for a phatclouds order, the mb tanks anywhere near as good as dripping? I love the ego but hate the mess. Anything less than dripping, I don't want to try out.
