Great mature review. What I do to get around the 'dry' spots is to have 3 units available when away from home. I rotate through all three. When at home I have other units to rotate through (15 total). To get around the flooding, when not in use, I keep them with cartridges facing down. I had the same issue with the cartomizers as well. I also tried trimming the stock cart filler vertically and fluffing it up so it wasn't so dense, it works, but I found myself angling the unit up or down while vaping to control the flow. I am now trying a different (white aquarium filter poly) filler, controlling the density and how packed it is. It works, but I still have to stand them cart down.

Gotta' love how long they last. I am burning through more juice it seems.

great review. I am just curious on how the mega attys perform on direct dripping with emptied out mega cartridges. Does the mega atty hold more drops in this case? Does it still produce more vapor as you have observed compared to your review's setup?

Yup.. I can drip 3, 4, or 5 drops on the atty if I wanted to drip. I left that off because I'm not much of a dripper. The vapor production is the same. The atty can leak if you drip too much.

Bottom line is this thing just hits. It's like the 510 on steroids.

Good review Cozz.. I would agree with every thing you said in the review.

I don't use the filler in mine because, as you stated, The filler can't replenish the atty fast enough for my usage. I drip only and works well for me that way.

It is a good atty..

I have found the Ego cartomizers to be even better without the problems, Same kind of hit but dont have the hassles of filler and dripping. The Cartos are great. I haven't had hte problems some others have reported with the cartos. No leaking. No burnt taste. They are a little bit different to refill but I find it easy to do and the cartos in some cases last me all day without touching it again. I am a moderate vaper..

It does dripping fine and yes it does hold more drops than a reg atty.
This atty termed a 510 looks to me to be much more like a 801 build on steroids.. than a 510 in any way.

Do I have to have an eGo battery, or will this thing hook up to any 510 connector? I do plan on getting an eGo, but the funds are not available at the moment. Still, I really want to try out a mega atty and a mega carto.

A standard 510 battery will fit, and look very funny. Considering the amperage that this atty must draw I would recommend that you only use an eGo (Or better) battery.

I only tried the standard battery for a single draw (For testing and kicks). I would imagine that this atomizer would just rape a standard 510 battery. Standard 510 batteries are 180mHa- while the eGo batteries are over 600mHa.

I would have to agree. I wouldnt use this on a 510 battery. Probably too much for the little 510 batt to handle. It would look very funny

I use mine on The Buzz at 4.5v and it is good. I use an adapter from 801 to a 510 do I can use the recessed connection that is on the atty. It works fine on any PV 510 that has the battery power as long as you use an adapter with your 510 connection. Like a 510>801 then and 801>510 again. the connector is recessed in the Ego atty.

If you use it on an Ego battery you dont need an adapter of any kind.

I have been thinking about getting one of these since they first came out. BUt then I heard about the leaking and was planning on using blue foam. I heard blue foam works good with it. What's the difference between blue foam and fluval?
