I'm using the egrip first version with the turning dial.
The egrip has light but firing nothing happens. I guess if there is light I would assume the battery is fine?
I would figure it is the head as I couldn't find supply for it here. For egrip is there any diy for the head or we have to source and buy the spare part?

Have you checked battery voltage & output with a multimeter?
It uses the egrip cs replacement heads.
I don't know if there is an rba for the egrip.

They last from a few days to a month depending on eliquid quality.

Might like to consider three avenues of inquiry:
Local Vape Shop -----Might be simple.
Vendor who sold it ---see if they will repair or replace or advise'
Manufacturer contact ---see if they will repair or replace or advise.

You can get an RBA deck for the eGrip - this will allow her to rebuild coils herself with some cotton wool and some resistance wire.
Beside the RBA, there are the CS base and the CL base available:
CS-Base:
Easy to rewick and recoil are Eleaf GS Air Cotton Coils with two liquidholes.
CL-Base:
Easy to rebuild are the CLR-Coils, also available for the Joyetech EGO ONE
CS-Base:

Changing the coil\head is the most logical thing to try, If you have the first version, that's the cs head. If it's the oled version (with the led screen) that's the cl head. The first version also has the rba head as @continuilty said. With the oled version you use the clr coil for rebuilding.
All of these heads are readily available.
The brand newest V2 verion uses cubis heads, but I doubt you have that one.
