I dont know what the problem with this thing is but every time I replace the coil it never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever fires!!!!!! I tried the premade coils and they give me nothing but trouble. This device will not fire anything less than 1.2 ohms according to the manual and I've built many coils that show at least 1.4ohm but still give problems. For example, why would it fire the first time and then not fire the 2nd time I press the button? I re-adjust the coil a bit and I get it to fire but thats it. Just first once. Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm literally spending hours trying to get a coil to just effing fire!

Try replacing the screws, maybe? My original screws seemed like they were catching and holding the wire, but I was having firing issues. I replaced both screws and have not had a problem since.

Also try taking a paper towel and drying that area where the RBA base screws into the egrip. Liquid can get in there and disrupt the electricity.

Ultimately, it sounds like you have a short and it's not an issue with the coil resistance.
