Anybody have any experiance or opinion on the Electric Angel clone? Decent quality material? Reliable, durable,etc? My wife really wants me to drop hints on my birthday gift and I would like a side-button mech. So please weigh in if you have any direct knowledge. Thank you

It was very well received when it came out; quite a while ago... I was delighted with mine when i had it because unlike the MKBTS the button didn't really need modding, no hot button issues with low resistances.
Looks great too.
For a side button mech, I'd say go for it; you can't lose for the $.
I did sell mine because although it has low resistance (v drop) for a tele, its not as hard hitting as a brass tube mech.

I don't know anything about the clone; but I have an authentic EA. I converted mine to a bottom button. The one thing I dislike about the EA: It's huge. Compared to other telescope mods, like the Roller or the 69, the EA is much bigger and heavier.

Thank you gentleman, and or lady. Gave that info to mine. Nemmy clone was Christmas, Magneto was Anniversary. EHPro Electric Angel should be my 47th. Every day I don't chain smoke like I used to - is a good day. Many people on here have helped.

It's a good mod. I use mine everyday. I've had it since last September. The gold plating is starting to wear off of the button, but not any of the contact surfaces. It's easy to keep clean.

I have one, works great, simple and very battery friendly. Downside, it's a hog leg and a half by today's standard of mechs.
