The type of equipment and the way you use it, when using higher power, will determine your experience to a large extent. I like to use coils with a larger surface area in atty's with good airflow options for higher wattage vaping.
Your juices are going to behave differently, it's hard to say how each will be affected. I find custards and cream vapes don't do well at high wattage (above 30 watts) and lose flavor to the point of only tasting sweet. Other liquids may shine at 50-70 watts! There is no rule and some trial and error is involved.

A good rule of thumb is to start increasing your wattage gradually upward and see where you find your sweet spot.

Yeah I was thinking that maybe some cookie, cake, or graham juice may be good a lil warmer

Well, build your atty with a dual or large single coil along with plenty of wick ( have you tried the Scottish roll method?) and give it a try.

My juices with bakery flavors and creams don't seem to like high wattage and causes the flavors to diminish. Like I said though, this is more equipment dependent and the way you build it.

I'm not building right now, I'm talking about tanks.

Sorry, I misunderstood or assumed too much. Read your coil; it should say what the recommended wattage range is on it. What tank are you using?
My bad. The tank I'm going to try it out on is an Atlantis v2. I got some 0.3 ohm coils for it that are rated for 70-80W. I'll put it on either my ipv d2, or my Target mod, they're both 75W

Sounds good. Let me be honest here. In general the best flavor comes from tanks or rda's that have restricted chambers with fairly tight airflow and that's what my preference is for.
I have an Atlantis v2 also and a number of sub-ohm tanks but with increased airflow and greater heat I find the flavor diminishes. Maybe that is just me, IDK, but I do like to blow some clouds aswell!!

I just tried these coils in my Atlantis and find the flavor somewhat improved.
$11.48 Replacement Clapton Coil Head for MELO 2 / Atlantis / Triton Clearomizer (10-Pack) 10-pack - 0.5ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Sure you realize all this stuff is fairly subjective so try it all out and find what works best for you.

cheers

Something that u could try are the new cCell ceramic coils that are for the Target. They fit in the Atlantis v2 and the flavor is pretty awesome. Only one problem, I haven't seen a tank yet to where it'll let all the juice holes be exposed to the juice (including the one they're made for, the Target). So in other words ya can't really chain vape it, or ya might get a dry hit. But when they're wicked they rock!

Thanks for the suggestion, I've been wanting to try those coils out but was not aware that they fit the Atlantis. So I will add some to my next order.
Funny, this has gone full circle and now I'm getting the good advise:D

Is this the correct coil?
$12.27 Authentic Vaporesso Ceramic cCELL Coil Head (5-Pack) 5-pack - 0.6ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Yep those are right. They're for the Vapresso Target. Makes me wonder, since the Atlantis coils fit in so many other tanks, and the cCell fit in the Atlantis, then I wonder if they would fit in all the others too?! Happy to help & enjoy!

Come back and let me know what your thoughts are with the higher wattage tests on your liquids. I'm interested because I get the best flavor (for me) from under 20 watt MTL on a kayfun and only vape at 50+ watts for the mouth feel and blowing big clouds for fun. Very costly in juice at the end of the day!!

I will 4sure. I have a whole pack of those 0.3 ohm coils, and a ton of juice, so I'd b happy 2 post my findings. Now I do DL hits,so keep that in mind too. I did get a MTL tank, (Eleaf GS) to try out, since I'm new to vaping, but I much prefer a DL hit.
Also on a side note I was just at one of our local shops sampling some juice, and found something very tasty. It's French Dude, which is blueberry french toast, with whip & syrup. Sooooo good, I'm getn some 4sure. I was vaping it at 35W on one of their mods. I usually vape around 22W, partially why I'm curious about the higher watt vape.
Anyway I'll let ya know. Oh also I usually go for max vg, but I do have some 30/70 so I'll see if that makes any difference

For the last year and a half I exclusively diy my juice, not to say I don't buy the odd one here or there, but I have a ton of flavorings and some good working recipes that suit me fine. Most all my blends are max. VG these days but last year I made more like 50/50 or 60/40 ratio's. I like more clouds from VG but have to up my flavorings. PG gives more throat hit and holds flavors better but I find it is too thin for most of the tanks I use and PG has a weird taste to me.

That French Dude juice sounds awesome though, I might try to make some as there's no chance of finding it here in St Martin!

cheers

I just ordered it from ecigaretteempire for $20 & $3 shipping for 60ml. It's a 30p/70v but it tasted to me like 100%vg. There was no throat hit at all. My local shop wanted $30. I have to save every dollar I can having kids!!

So I just wanted to post a lil update on my higher wattage testing, on if it changes ejuice flavors. So I put the 0.3 ohm coil in my Atlantis V2 and pumped up the watts to 60. Now up til now I'd been vaping at around 22-25W on 0.5 or 0.9 ohm coils, so this was a big jump for me. At first it kicked my ... even with full top & bottom air flow. But I kept at it, and now it's no prob. So my first tank was some French Dude that I had jus got. For those who don't know it's blueberry french toast with whip & syrup([edited] tasty!!). I had tried it at a local shop on their mod at 35W and was instantly sold. I have to say it's just as good at 60W. Next I tried some vanilla custard. Same deal good flavor & cloud production. So far it seems that it's just a preference on whether you like a warm vape or not. One thing I noticed though is my tank gets hot faster, and the battery drains quicker, but I guess that's to be expected. I've ordered a higher wattage mod, and some different rda's so I will keep experimenting with this whole hypothesis, as well as learning the ins and outs of coil building (thank goodness for utube!!)
