ejuice contacting raw aluminum safe?

I wouldn't think it would be a problem, seeing that soda cans are made from aluminum. Not sure if there's a difference between machined aluminum grades and the grade they make cans out of, in regards to food safety. All I've ever seen the canning factory do is run the cans thru a bath of soapy water before shipping them off to be filled.

You should be able to anodize those parts easily enough with a home setup.
Just do some searches for home anodizing and you should find plenty of information.
Since your surface area will be so small, you won't need that large of a power supply, even a decently-sized wall wart should work.

You really don't want any sort of raw metal (except maybe stainless) in direct prolonged contact with caustic juices, since they can leach into the juice and then you start building up metals in your body.

Anodizing essentially coats the aluminum with a layer of sapphire, that forms a barrier between the juice and the metal.
