Ejuice Flavor dissapearing?

I've got some 20pg 80vg extreme ice from Mtbakervapor, and i'm using it on a nimbus with a dual 8 wrap micro coil and organic cotton. When i go and drip it, the first hit is always the best, it's got great throat hit, it's minty to the point that it even hurts sometimes, but only on the first hit. It's rare that it will be minty or have any flavor besides the vg sweetness on the second hit or after. Why does the flavor just dissapear?! I's frustrating haha. Do i need to put more concentrate in my juice (its homemade), or is it the cotton, or my build?

I wonder if it has something to do with your atty. Does this happen with any other juices on the same set up?

Just tested with some butter toffee, it seems that the flavor of the toffee stays a while, and it might actually stay with the mint too, i'm almost thinking that it's just the fresh minty throat hit is going away after the first hit, which is my favorite part.
