Hopefully this is not considered spam, but I setup a new site for rating ejuice and was hoping some of you might check it out and give me feedback about it and add some ratings to help jump start it. It is meant to be more of a numeric rating and less of a review (although you can review in the comments).

EcigWiki.info Reviews

*Edit: wow, thanks everyone. within 20 minutes there were 5 ppl who made a total of 35 ratings.

I will try to answer all questions in one post.

Comments: each flavor is actually a blog post and has comments enabled. You have to be signed in to comment but it accepts openID, google, aol and other logins so you do not need to register to comment or vote.

Adding juices: unfortunately unless I get someone who wants to help add them, I am the only one who can do it for now. Since each flavor is a new post I have to create them one by one. Please let me know which vendors/flavors you want the most so I can get the most popular ones on first and then I will slowly add the less popular ones after.

Site coloring: I seem to have a hard time with light colored themes and this was the first simple theme I was able to get working with my image of how the site should work. I might add a white one for users to use but I have added a couple hundred lines of custom code to this theme and will have to copy all of that over to the new one. Also, I know the header looks like crap but I suck with graphics and that was the best I could do.

Visitors adding juices: I am working on a way for visitors (non authors) to submit requests for which vendor/flavor they want so i can add those first but it seems I will have to custom code that. I need to learn how to write wordpress plugins so it will not be hardcoded into my install (and break when I upgrade stuff).

Again, thanks everyone for voting for the ones you did. It helped a lot and will give visitors a better overview of the site and make them more liable to rate juices now.

I have added a user submission form and will see how well it works. Please try to use the template below until I can get it automatically inserted.

Title: <vendor>'s <flavor>
Content: <a href="xxx URL to juice xxx">PASTE TITLE IN HERE</a>

Example:

Title: PureSmoker's TONIC Bananaca
Content: <a href="http://www.puresmoker.com/product_p/tonicbananaca.htm">PureSmoker's TONIC Bananaca</a>

Dont know if you want to use this or not--feel free. Just like messing with photoshop. If you tell me what font you used for the header I could use that.

No offense, intended but how is this meant to be similar or different, or better than the http://www.e-liquid-reviews.com review site. I've been using that for a few weeks now and I like the way it's laid out and the many different options for how you can present the data. I really wish there were more vendors and flavors listed though. It would be great if there were a review site that had a truly broad representative selection, not just the most expensive and exotic vendors and flavors.

Well, I personally wanted something with a visual representation of the 3 main qualities of the juice. A star rating was the closest I could think of. I also wanted something where I did not have to read through the "review" to see the ratings. I had not seen that review page before when I was googling for juice reviews. I won't say it is better, but it is a bit different.

I have been watching my analytics to judge the traffic and which pages get the most. Today I noticed that the 3rd most common tld (extension at the end of a domain like .com .net .org) to visit my site is .gov and thought that kind of odd. Has anyone else seem this on ecig related sites that you manage?

Below are the stats from the last 4 days
net 522 78.3%
com 91 13.6%
gov 29 4.3%
and the lower ones below with 1% or less
