apparently there was a bug in the submit process. i'm pretty sure i've ironed it out, so if you submitted a review and it hasn't shown up yet (there's nothing in the queue waiting), i would ask you to resubmit it again. i do apologize for my amateur coding skills, but i'm getting there, and i do hope this becomes a valuable tool for everyone.

by the way, the site doesn't collect any personal information (not even your IP) except your forum username.

the site has only 24 reviews on it, but is getting really decent traffic in a short amount of time.

thanks to everyone who has submitted their reviews, keep em coming. i've already made some purchases based off of them.

i'm wondering why more folks aren't using it though - bad idea, hard to navigate, not tied in with ecf? any negative feedback or things that need to be improved for it to be useful to you?

No place like ~/
Good site. I was thinking about coming up with a review site myself but I'm far too lazy. I had some ideas that maybe you'd be interested in.

Reviewer profiles and matching. Sort of like a match making service cept you're matched based on what liquids (and what characteristics of certain liquids) you like or dislike. If there's someone out there with similar tastes to mine, I'd really like to see what else they're trying and how they like it.

More extensive characteristics of liquids. Do you really taste all the components in that pineapple fudge cheesecake bubblegum flavor? Do you taste something else in there that doesn't belong? This goes much further in depth to help build reviewer tastebud profiles.

Follow up reviews. Did the liquid change after a few weeks? Was your next order of the same liquid the same?

Just some thoughts.
UD.

good ideas. i was toying with the idea of being able to 'mark' your favorite reviewers, so you can sort of 'follow' them. but that would require login/authentication, and i'm thinking i'm just as lazy as you are. perhaps when it really gets going, and enough users would find it helpful.
and who the heck is vaping pineapple fudge cheesecake bubblegum ;)

i didn't want to require people to create an account to submit their review, so for now folks have just been pm-ing me here, and i make the updates/changes manually.

Just reviewed all my Vapor4lifes! :)
good deal!! i'm guessing you didn't like the root beer?

Whats your thoughts re making the review "easier"? Just a thumbs up/down option?
I tried to add some reviews, but had no idea (and no time to research) what some of the "required fields" values are. So I gave up.
the required fields are supplier, flavor, nic level, mix of pg/vg, atomizer, voltage, and then the ratings themselves. which ones are you having trouble with?

this is a site for the community, so if enough people want a simple 'yes/no' system, i can easily do that (i think).

its getting pretty good traffic for 9 days, so i'm guessing people are using it. i'm thinking of creating a similar thing but for supplier service, wondering if anyone is interested ...

I think I saw something in this thread about doing a similar type of review overall for suppliers. (I am too new to start new topics in this part of the forum, so sorry if this is hijacking) I think that would be great. There are so many vendors, it is impossible to sift through them all.

I would also love to see a master list comparing suppliers and showing the basic of what each supplier offers. Possible columns could be for example: location, # of flavors, PG/VG, range of liquid volumes, PV models, DIY liquid, mod supplies, and then the final column could be a rating that linked to that suppliers review. If there was a way that suppliers/or even regular customers could fill out basic info and go back in for updates when offerings changed it would be easier to compile such a list.

I know I am just coming up with all kinds of ideas that would make more work for you. :D Are you using a database to fill in your charts and reviews? (PM me if this is even worth considering. I may be of some help, though it has been years since I did any DB driven pages)

I really was really looking for a listing of size/ml bottles of liquid range (ex 6ml-100ml bottles) for each supplier. Does a master list with this info for the suppliers already exist? If there was one place where you can see all the suppliers with larger sizes/ml bottles, that also sell smaller sizes/ml bottles, then along with the flavor review and other info on this forum, you could determine a shorter list of suppliers who meet your individual needs and standards, Then you could "preview" the flavors of that company by buying some less expensive smaller ml bottle and then when you found ones you loved, you know they also carry that in an extra large value sizes.
